The much hyped debut CD for Paris Hilton is not exactly a hard to find item anywhere in the country.

Hotel heiress Paris Hilton’s much-touted debut album Paris hit the floor with a huge thud since only 75,000 copies sold in the US in its first week, the New York Post reported. And the second week is not looking so good as 30,000 copies are projected to be sold.

If Paris were a nobody this might be looked at as a nice debut, but this is the self proclaimed Marilyn Monroe of our generation.  Maybe if she included her adult debut as a bonus DVD it would have helped.

Get one now or wait a few years doesn’t matter

Actress and film-maker Rosanna Arquette is making a documentary on the little known subject of the male menopause.

The 47-year-old, whose movie credits include the pop documentary All We Are Saying and Searching For Debra Winger, is currently starring in the sitcom What About Brian?

She explains, “Women are always the ones blamed for having the symptoms of menopause, when the fact is a lot of men go through menopause, too - it’s called ‘manopause’ and comes about when men start losing testosterone.

“It’s the reason a lot of men want younger women - because they’re insecure about their own ages.”

Arquette plans to concentrate on her film project as soon as she gets a break in her sitcom shooting schedule adding, “No one realises how much of your life an hour show like this takes up!”

Pirates Of The Caribbean star Orlando Bloom had to undergo three separate operations to remove spines from his foot after stepping on a sea urchin while surfing in Mexico.

The star stepped on the prickly creature while he was filming Troy with Brad Pitt and immediately sought help from his girlfriend Kate Bosworth.

He explains, “I did a lot of surfing in Cabo (San Lucas) while I was shooting Troy.

“I was just surfing and the tide had gone down a bit. I wiped out on the board and I was sort of paddling my way up to the top and I put my foot down right on a rock and it was a sea urchin.

“I had like 25 of those things (spines) in my foot. My girlfriend peed on it.

Apparently you’re supposed to pee on it and it doesn’t do s**t… it doesn’t do anything, believe me.

Will & Grace star Eric McCormack is struggling to find acting work after being typecast as a gay man following the hit TV series.

McCormack, who played Manhattan lawyer Will TRUMAN in the show, is desperate to branch out into serious movie roles but struggles to convince directors he can play more than a funny homosexual.

The Emmy award-winning star says, “I have this big pink cross to bear.

“I absolutely loved playing Will. There was nothing hard about it. It was wonderful. But the only downside is the aftermath.

“I meet all these film executives who tell me how much they loved Will & Grace and say they never missed an episode. Then they say, ‘So what can we do for you?’ What they could do for me is hire me to play someone else.”

Colin Farrell has been granted a three-year restraining order against a woman attempting to sue the actor for stalking her.

Dessarae Bradford, who confronted Farrell during a taping of The Tonight Show last month, has been ordered to stay at least 150 yards away from the Miami Vice star and his family.

In granting the order, Los Angeles Superior Court officials accepted that Bradford remains a threat to Farrell.

Farrell’s battles with Bradford began in late 2004 when she filed a handwritten lawsuit claiming the actor pestered her with phone calls.

Bradford accused the Irish hunk of harassment and stalking her, alleging he wouldn’t leave her alone after initially befriending her. She demanded $5,000 from the star, plus the return of artwork and an erotic tape.

Farrell has always maintained he had never met Bradford before she filed suit against him. The lawsuit was later dismissed.

We will just have to wait and see if the rumored Jessica Simpson and John Mayer romance is true, but we can only speculate what new songs could be coming down the pipe.

Jessica Simpson has found love with fellow music star John Mayer, according to press reports. Simpson is in New York City to promote her new album, A Public Affair, but has been forced to cancel her media appearances because she has laryngitis. Strangely enough, Mayer is also suffering from laryngitis and was forced to cancel a concert on Saturday night in Connecticut, where he was headlining with Sheryl Crow.

See what swapping spit can do to you children?  Both singers have lost their voices right before they are supposed to be pushing new CD releases.  That will teach you to keep it in your pants until you are married!  Joe Simpson was a preacher so you have no excuse to be whoring it up Jessica!!!

Rapper Foxy Brown pleaded guilty to assault charges over a fight with workers at a nail salon over a manicure.
Brown won’t be going to jail because of a plea deal, but she will have to serve three years probation and take anger management classes.

The 26-year-old rapper, whose real name is Inga Marchand, allegedly kicked one employee and smacked another on Aug. 29, 2004, in an argument over payment for a manicure at New York’s Bloomie Nails.

Her sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 23.

Matthew Broderick’s day off wasn’t nearly as fun as the one he took as his ’80s teen character Ferris Bueller.

The actor fractured his collarbone on Sunday, Aug. 27 after falling off his horse while vacationing in Ireland, reports “Extra.”

Wife Sarah Jessica Parker of “Sex & the City” fame accompanied him to the local hospital where he was treated and then released.

Broderick, 44, claims Irish ancestry from his father’s side of the family and often vacations in the Emerald Isle. In the late ’80s, he was involved in a fatal car crash in which two women in the other car were killed. He broke his leg in the accident.

“Extra” will have more details about his current mishap on Monday night, Aug. 28.

Broderick’s other film credits include “Glory,” “The Lion King,” “The Cable Guy,” “The Stepford Wives” and “The Producers.”

Actor Matt Dillon refuses to date anyone famous, because the intense media scrutiny puts too much pressure on the relationship.

The You, Me And Dupree star was put off celebrity coupledom after dating Cameron Diaz for three years during the late 1990s.

He says, “I’m not dating anyone right now, I’m pleased to say.

“I think it’s a friggin’ nightmare if you date somebody famous - I think it’s out of hand. The scrutiny just gets ridiculous.

“That’s the thing - if you’re with somebody else who’s famous. It can become a problem. I had a famous girlfriend (Diaz) for a while and that can be a little bit invasive”.
