Though Lindsay Lohan told cameras on Monday she’s still with boyfriend Harry Morton, he’s got a different story.

“Lindsay is an amazing girl and we’re just sort of taking a little breather right now,” Morton told “EXTRA” correspondent Carlos Diaz, adding the two are “slowing things down.”

The pair garnered a lot of attention from the paparazzi, something Morton took issue with. He tells Diaz, “There’s just a lot of pressure sometimes, it can screw things up, the media getting involved, it always makes it more difficult.”

Harry’s also slamming reports he bought La Lohan an engagement ring in August while cameras caught him shopping at Cartier. His actual purchase that day — a lighter.

Though his personal life may be having a rough patch, his Pink Taco restaurant chain is taking off. With one in Las Vegas and another in Scottsdale, AZ, Morton plans to expand the chain to at least six other locations, with one in Los Angeles opening in January 2007.

Maybe Aaron Carter thought better of marrying his brother’s hand me down girlfriend.  The much hyped recent engagement of Aaron Carter is no more.

“I got caught up in the moment and proposed,” the younger Carter told Us Weekly magazine in a report on its Web site. “I then realized it was a hasty thing to do and I am not ready for marriage quite yet.”

Good going Aaron, you had a playmate actually say yes to you and you throw it away!  You are quite ready for marriage, but that didn’t stop you from being ready for some cheap and easy press on every news show on TV now did it?  I just think he isn’t yet over Lindsay and Hilary.

Steve Irwin’s widow Terri has spoken for the first time about her husband’s untimely death. Terri, 42, recalled the terrible moment when she heard about the Crocodile Hunter’s fatal accident. Steve died on September 4 when a stingray’s barb pierced his heart as he was filming a wildlife documentary off of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.

The grieving widow said: “Steve’s friend and manager John Stainton rang. He said, ‘There’s been a diving accident with Steve’ and I thought, ‘Don’t say it, don’t say it, don’t say it’ and he said it. He said those three words, ‘Steve is dead’.

Terri admits she still hasn’t fully come to terms with the fact that Steve is dead. She added in an interview with Good Morning America: “I’m still at the stage where I think he’s going to come home. And it didn’t really happen. I’m dealing with it all one minute at a time, sometimes an hour at a time, with great faith and great determination.”

Terri admits she has found it difficult to cope since losing Steve but thanked the public for their “thoughts and prayers”. Speaking of the support she received during the memorial service at Steve’s Australia Zoo last week, she said: “I walked into the Crocoseum and I knew people would be missing Steve but the feelings of love and support from Australians was just overwhelming. He would have said, ‘Crikey, mate, I can’t believe this’.”

Terri added: “There never has been before and never will be again another Steve Irwin. Every day he was my prince charming.”

Russell Crowe has blasted reports he’s planning to portray his late friend Steve Irwin in a new movie, admitting he’s “appalled” by the rumours.

Media outlets jumped to claims the Gladiator star was onboard an Irwin biopic project last week , but Crowe is upset that anyone is even thinking of promoting such an idea.

He fumes, “It’s appalling to me and offends me very deeply.

“It’s so awful that I have to deal with millions of people thinking I would dance on my friend’s grave.

“Yes, I do think there should be a movie made about Steve but I’m not the sort of person who will be doing commerce on my friend’s grave.”

Fashion house Ralph Lauren is giving its designers the creepy crawlies - literally. Staffers say they’ve had to put up with an outbreak of bedbugs at the label’s graphic design studio and shirt design offices at 650 Madison Ave. One affected employee told us, “I have bites all over me. This has gone on for over a month now.” Ralph Lauren executives at first refused to exterminate “on grounds of bites alone,” the insider says. “They wanted to see the bugs first. But bedbugs are notoriously invisible. So we have been here suffering forever. It is scandalous.” A company rep said, “The exterminators were called and came in three weeks ago when the problem was first brought to our attention, and again last weekend. The employees in that office were offered a chance to relocate to a different floor.” Let’s hope the little critters don’t pop up in any of the clothier’s posh stores.

Martha Stewart wants Eminem to appear on her “Martha” TV show. Not because he can knit or bake brownies but because audience members love his music. “We play his music during breaks to keep people very lively and they love him,” Stewart told AP Radio in a recent interview.

“I would really love to have Eminem on the show,” the 65-year-old lifestyle guru said. “I don’t think he knows that my demographic audience is so involved in Eminem music.”

Stewart said she’s not good at everything.

“I can’t pick up a guitar and play a fantastic song. … I cannot sit down at a piano and do that,” she said. “I’m happy about my knowledge in so many different subjects relating to living, but in terms of specifics, I don’t know if I’d be really very good on `The Young and the Restless.’”

However, Stewart does have a wild side.

She licked David Letterman’s jelly covered finger when he pretended to cut himself during a cooking segment with her on CBS’s “Late Show With David Letterman.”

“I knew it was jelly because I looked really carefully before I licked his finger. And I think he was looking for a reaction and didn’t know what I would do,” Stewart said.

“I’m sure he was totally shocked that I would lick his finger, as were many, many, many other people,” she said with a laugh.

Unhappy customers who sued “Dr. Phil” McGraw over his now discontinued Shape Up! diet plan have reached a $10.5 million settlement agreement with the TV psychologist, an attorney for the plaintiffs said.

The lawsuit, filed in 2004 on behalf of three disappointed consumers, claimed McGraw defrauded fans with his yearlong venture into the diet supplement business, making false statements about the pills. McGraw has denied the allegations and admitted no wrongdoing or misrepresentation in the settlement.

Henry H. Rossbacher, an attorney for the plaintiffs, said thousands of eligible customers nationwide will be able to choose either replacement products or a small cash reward as part of the settlement. It wasn’t immediately clear how much each person could receive.

Rossbacher said a fund would be set up with $6 million in Nutrilite vitamins and $4.5 million in cash.

Insurance will cover the costs of the settlement and McGraw will have no personal obligation to contribute to the fund, Rossbacher said.

Attempts to leave a phone message at the office of McGraw’s lawyer, Gregory Phillips, were unsuccessful early Tuesday.

McGraw, 56, jumped into the lucrative weight-loss market in mid-2003 with a campaign that included advice books, a prime-time special with Katie Couric on obesity and dieting, and his Shape Up! with Dr. Phil McGraw products.

Shape Up! shakes, bars and multivitamins made by Irving, Texas-based CSA Nutraceuticals were sold in supermarkets, Target, Wal-Mart and elsewhere. The plan called for 22 pills daily at $120 a month.

CSA Nutraceuticals agreed to stop making the supplements in early 2004 as it faced a Federal Trade Commission investigation into false-advertising concerns.

According to the label, the pills “contain scientifically researched levels of ingredients that can help you change your behavior to take control of your weight.”

The original three plaintiffs sought class action status for the lawsuit last year. Rossbacher said consumers who can establish by affidavit or proof of purchase that they bought Shape Up! supplements before July 1 may be eligible for the settlement’s benefits.

But she maintains there was no internal struggle with her sexuality, claiming she simply fell in love with someone else - and gender is immaterial.

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has secretly been battling hepatitis C, but he is finally ready to raise awareness of the dangerous disease. Hepatitis C, a viral infection of the blood that can lead to liver disease, is often transmitted through dirty needles.

Recovering drug addict Tyler announced he is slowly getting better after a year of interferon treatments, which strengthen the immune system, and he is planning to speak publicly on Oprah Winfrey’s chat show in order to warn people about the infection.

He tells the New York Daily News, “It is nonexistent in my bloodstream … where it’s like a complete cure. I’ve had hepatitis C for a long time, asymptomatic. I’ve been pretty quiet about this. The band took a break about three years ago. (My doctor) said now is the time, and it’s 11 months of chemotherapy (interferon) so I went on that, and it about killed me.

“Hepatitis C is the one that, of all the people in this room, at least three have it and don’t know it. It’s the silent killer. I may go on Oprah and talk about this. I hope you don’t mind me mentioning that.”

Tyler joins fellow celebrity hepatitis sufferers Pamela Anderson, Naomi Judd and Larry Hagman.
