Tori Spelling To Star In New Reality Show

Tori Spelling’s latest stint on reality TV has been given the green light - she will star in a new series with her actor husband Dean Mcdermott as they choose a bed-and-breakfast in southern California to buy and refurbish.
The still-untitled show will air on the Us Oxygen network and the six half-hour episodes will debut next spring.
According to producer Randy Burbato the couple “may be actors, but they’re also very entrepreneurial. They wanted to create a real business”.
The cameras will also follow the couple as they prepare for their roles as expectant parents.
The final episode of the show is expected to coincide with the baby’s birth in March (07).
Spelling starred in the scripted series Notorious, based on her own life, for US network VH1 last year.

Cruise Hires Anniston And Pitt’s Wedding Planner

Tom Cruise has hired the same Hollywood event production company that planned the fairytale nuptials of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Anniston to co-ordinate his upcoming wedding to Katie Holmes.
The celebrity couple are tying the knot in Italy on November 18, but have refused to reveal the exact location.
The wedding planning company, Along Came Mary, has also produced Barbra Streisand’s wedding to James Brolin and Sean Penn’s nuptials with Robin Wright Penn.
According to Radar Online, the company is owned by Mary Miucci, who is actually better known for staging blockbuster movie premieres.
Miucci has produced elaborate affairs for such films as Memoirs Of A Geisha, for which she sourced hundreds of thousands of silk cherry blossoms and Superman Returns, for which she built a scale-replica Metropolis.
Cruise is familiar with her work - she also planned the premieres for the first two Mission: Impossible movies, which reportedly earned her the nickname “the Queen of Theme”.

Whitney Houston: ‘I Feel Great’

Whitney Houston made her first high-profile public appearance since seeking treatment for substance abuse and filing for divorce - at a charity event in Beverly Hills on Saturday night.
The Greatest Love Of All star made a surprise appearance at the 17th Carousel Of Hope Ball, which raised more than $70 million for juvenile diabetes research.
The singer filed for divorce from singer Bobby Brown two weeks ago after 14 years of marriage.
The newly-blonde Houston donned a black Armani gown and diamonds and basked in the attention saying, “I feel great”.
The 43-year-old was escorted by one of the evening’s honorees, record producer Clive Davis, who told newspaper Usa Today, “She’s been through emotional trauma, and everybody’s rooting for her”.
Fellow music producer and the event’s other honoree, Quincy Jones, who has known Houston since she was 16, said Houston seems to have turned a corner adding, “She’s looking at the light, instead of darkness”.

“Factory Girl” - the troubled biopic about tragic Warhol muse Edie Sedgwick starring Sienna Miller - is mysteriously missing from the list of coming attractions on the Weinstein Company’s Web site, sparking fears that the project’s been shelved. “There are just too many things wrong with it,” a source told us. Last week, Page Six revealed that Miller was being sent back for more reshoots. But a flack for Harvey Weinstein told us the film will be screened in New York and L.A. by the end of the year to qualify for Oscar consideration. She said its absence from the Weinstein roster was an “oversight.”

Clay Aiken To Guest Star On Days of our Lives

Claymates will get a special Christmas present this year: Clay Aiken will be appearing on the NBC daytime drama Days of our Lives - as himself.
The American Idol phenom will perform “Everything I Have”, a song from his new album, as part of a private concert for Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) in the local Salem club.
Aiken, whose album, A Thousand Different Ways, was released last month, will also have his version of “O, Holy Night” from his 2004 album Merry Christmas with Love featured in the episode, which will tape Nov. 14 and air on Dec. 22.

Even NBC hates the Dixie Chicks

The uproar over comments made by a member of the Dixie Chicks has resulted in declining CD sales, cancelling of concerts, less airplay, and now NBC refuses to air a film on the group.
Citing its policy barring ads dealing with “public controversy,” the NBC network said on Friday it rejected a TV commercial for a new film documenting the furor over the Dixie Chicks’ criticism of President George W. Bush.
Ads for the documentary Shut Up & Sing also were rebuffed by the smaller CW network, though local affiliates of all five major broadcasters, including NBC and CW, ran promotional spots for the film in New York and Los Angeles, the two cities where it opened on Friday.
If the WB, oops i mean the CW Network, passes on your film you know people hate you. There was no mention of UPN being asked to air this film, but they were probably smart enough to not even let them in the door. I wonder how the two other members of this group feel about Nat’s comments? To go from one of the biggest acts in the world to a punchline overnight has to sting!

Jude Law’s Ex-Wife Burgled On Eve Of “Breaking And Entering” Premiere

Jude Law’s ex-wife Sadie Frost was burgled in the early hours of Thursday morning - just a day before her former husband premiered new crime movie Breaking And Entering.
Thieves are believed to have entered Frost’s London home between midnight and 8am on Thursday morning and made off with her Range Rover after finding keys for the vehicle inside the house while she and her children were sleeping.
Law confirmed the theft at the London premiere of his new film yesterday in which the actor plays an architect whose state-of-the-art studios are repeatedly broken into by a local gang of thieves.
The 33-year-old said, “Funnily enough, the mother of my kids was burgled when they were in the house. I was particularly worried because the kids were in the house, and I think that is a very different type of burglar to one that breaks into empty offices and takes computers at night.”
A spokesman for London’s Scotland Yard police said, “Police were called at 9:21am to a report of a theft in Hampstead, (north London). A Range Rover had been taken from outside the address between midnight and 8am.”
Law and Frost divorced in October 2003 after six years of marriage. They have three children together.

South Beach revelers have found themselves a new party pal in Guns N’ Roses front man Axl Rose. Witnesses at Miami nightclub Snatch earlier this week said the rocker rolled in with a few tour mates from Eric Clapton’s crew and stayed until 5 a.m. His debaucheries included a five-minute ride on a mechanical bull and a saucy show from his girlfriend, who spent the night dancing on poles and bar tables. The next night at his concert in Fort Lauderdale, Rose told the audience, “I don’t remember where I was . . . but I know it had something to do with a mechanical bull.”

Alison Eastwood, who posed for Playboy a few years ago, is set to follow in the footsteps of her father Clint and direct a picture, “Rails & Ties.” The Hollywood Reporter says the movie will open with a suicidal mom in a car parked on train tracks with her 9-year-old son awaiting the next train. Kevin Bacon will play the train engineer, with Marcia Gay Harden chugging along as his wife. Meanwhile, Clint - who has already won two Best Actor Oscars (”Unforgiven” and “Million Dollar Baby”) - looks set to nab another with “Flags of Our Fathers.”

Lindsay Lohan has come forward in a new interview and confirmed rumors regarding her weight loss over the past few years. She also speaks frankly about how she gets round.
“I ended up in hospital. My liver was swollen and I had a kidney infection and my white blood cells were accelerated. I was really, really white, like a ghost, and my legs were so numb from not walking. My body did not have enough strength to take a shower.”
She goes on to say:
She says, “Sex And The City changed everything for me because those girls would just sleep with so many people. And that’s me. I’m not dating just one person.
“It is the variety of partners everyone likes, especially at my age. I’m like Angelina Jolie, taking on lovers. I don’t need a steady relationship.”
It’s nice to see the 20 year old come forward and speak so frank about a serious topic and completely undermine that openness with her whorish admission. What kind of person says that “Sex in the City” changes EVERYTHING for them? Maybe you get a good joke out of a show or maybe even a nice idea about fashion, but changing your whole life? Think Angelina is gonna read this and feel proud? Nice to know that Lindsay’s hard work helping third world countries is being noticed by young Hollywood.
