Actor Ethan Embry Is Robbed And He Shoots Back

Sweet Home Alabama star Ethan Embry’s Studio City, Los Angeles, home became the scene of a crime on Sunday night when the actor and a friend were mugged at gunpoint in his driveway. Embry called police after two men stole his watch and wallet after recognizing him in the street and waving a gun in front of him.
Furious Embry almost went from being a victim to a suspect as he dashed into his house and came out brandishing a gun, which he fired at the muggers’ SUV as they raced away, according to website TMZ.com.
Police have refused to confirm whether the actor fired directly at the thugs’ car and they won’t be releasing the name of his female companion.

Jaime Pressly Took Nine Pregnancy Tests

Jaime Pressly was so excited about becoming a mother she took nine pregnancy tests just to make sure she was expecting. Pressly and fiancé Eric Cubiche are awaiting a baby in May. She explains, “I’ve wanted to be a mom for so long! It’s a powerful thing for your relationship to know that you’re both doing this together.”
The 29-year-old says she has put Cubiche to work reading parenting books saying, “I highlight parts I need him to do.” She also insists that part of his new duties include keeping her cravings for McDonald’s Big Macs satisfied, adding, “He’s so patient and understanding.”

50 Cent Calls Oprah A ‘Middle-Aged White Woman’

Rapper 50 Cent has accused talk show queen Oprah Winfrey of deserting her African-American roots to pander to the middle-aged white female demographic. Winfrey, who shot to fame starring in 1985 race drama The Color Purple, has since found huge success with her popular daytime talk show. But hip-hop star 50 Cent feels her current status is at the cost of her former beliefs and original fanbase.
He says, “(She) started out with black women’s views but has been catering to middle-aged white American women for so long that she’s become one herself. I think the idea of being publicly noted that she’s a billionaire makes (black women) interested in seeing her views. But it’s even more exciting to the demographic of white American women she’s been aiming at to see that she has the exact same views that they have.”
It’s not the first time the rapper has hit out at Winfrey - last month the star joined Ludacris and Ice Cube in criticizing Winfrey’s perceived negative attitude towards hip-hop’s big names after she refused to have him as a guest on her show.

Nick Lachey is stepping up to the plate to become a part-owner of the Tacoma Rainiers franchise baseball team in Washington State. The team is an affiliate of the Seattle Mariners and realizes the singer’s long-term ambition to become involved with sport in a business capacity.
He says, “It had always been a dream of mine to be involved in team sports in general, especially on a local level.”
The star is a self-described “huge baseball fan” who grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio where the games is “kind of a religion.”
The 33-year-old, who will be practicing with the team as part of his new duties, adds, “That’s the biggest perk! Sports is, outside of entertainment, my passion. Clearly I’m not going to be playing (professional sports) for anybody in my lifetime, so to be involved in the ownership level is the next best thing.”

Tracy Morgan busted for DUI - Again!

Tracy Morgan, former SNL member and current star of 30 Rock on NBC, was arrested and charged with DUI in NYC.
Morgan is currently on probation in Los Angeles for a DUI conviction. He was charged in January for driving with a blood-alcohol level of .13 — well above the .08 legal limit — and a month later he pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge.
The comic was sentenced to 36 months of probation and ordered to attend an alcohol-education program. A drunken-driving conviction today would constitute a violation of his parole.
Based on the rules of celebrity crimes Tracy will probably get off with a plea bargain and a slap on the wrist for driving drunk again. Any other non-celebrity caught violating parole and driving drunk endangering the lives of everyone else on the road would be in jail for a few months. Amazing that Kramer is national news for using the N-word, but Tracy Morgan risking lives is no real big deal.

Tracy Morgan Charged With Drunken Driving

30 Rock star Tracy Morgan has reportedly been charged with driving while intoxicated in New York. The funnyman was pulled over by police early this morning after failing to “maintain a position in a lane of traffic” and driving erratically, according to reports. The arrest could spell big trouble for Morgan, who is currently on probation in Los Angeles for a DUI conviction.
