Britney “Baldie” Spears has decided that she needs a lot of space in rehab to make sure she gets better.

Reports have indicated that Spears has procured her very own wing at Promises to ensure her privacy is maintained. Apparently the 25-year-old doesn’t want to mingle with her fellow rehabbers out of fear they may run to the media with stories and pictures.

Doesn’t Britney know that by taking an entire wing for herself se is just taking up space that can be used by other really rich addicts that need help?  Where are they supposed to go if they shave their head and attack a car with an umbrella?  Rumors are also out that Britney is suffering from post-partum depression made worse by her life spiraling out of control.  I think Paris told her CD was better than Britney’s last CD and that just pushed her over the edge.

While many celebs go out of their way to antagonize the press, Mark Ruffalo had them eating out of his hand the other night. When bad weather kept his guests from attending Gotham magazine’s screening of his new thriller, “Zodiac,” Ruffalo invited reporters lingering outside in the cold to see the flick. He also passed out gift bags to the paparazzi. “When one photographer was late and missed the arrivals, Mark came back out so he could get his shot,” our spy said. “Then, after the movie, he extended an invite for them to join him at the after-party at Cellar Bar in the Bryant Park Hotel. He was by far one of the nicest guys.”

The guys showed up tonight and put on some solid performances.  They still don’t measure up to the women, but they showed that they might be able to make it interesting.  The top performance this evening cam from Sundance Head who finished the show strong.  Sundance got back to his roots and sang a more spirited song that showed off his voice for the judges.  Other strong showings came from Blake Lewis and Chris Richardson.

Paris Hilton had her 2007 Bentley Continental GTC convertible towed away last night at about 10:30 pm. She was pulled over by the cops after speeding down Sunset Blvd. without her headlights on. The deputies seem more focused on checking her out than writing her a ticket! Mmmm herpes!

Her publicist, Elliot Mintz, said Hilton was exiting the parking lot which “is brightly lit so she had not noticed that her headlights were not activated.”

After being pulled over the deputies discovered that Hilton was driving with a suspended license. Again her publicist Mintz said, “If that was the case, she was not aware of it.” The funny thing is I believe her, Paris isn’t aware of pretty much everything!

Possibly her suspension was due to her alcohol-related reckless driving in which she plead no contest to?!

Schreiber appeared on talk show Late Night with Conan O¡¯Brien on Monday where he confirmed the happy news, saying, “I’m going to be a dad. Very exciting!

“It’s a strange thing about women. You can take a complete wallflower, a quiet girl, and get them pregnant and then they want to go out all the time!

“So I gave her grief about going to the Oscars and she said, ‘No, no, it’s a very auspicious thing’ that our ‘embryo,’ I guess, was going to be going to the Oscars.”

Once again though they aren’t married. How come so many celebrities make millions of dollars, but can figure out how to take a pill or slip on a condom? Can’t they control themselves for a few minutes to not have all these bastard children? Of course Paris Hilton cam from a loving family and she is a train wreck so congratulations Naomi!

Losing the Best Supporting Actor award on Sunday might have been too much for the sulky comedian to handle.  Reports have surfaced that the actor needed some a lone time after the announcement.

When Alan Arkin was announced as the winner, the entire downstairs bar erupted into rapturous applause, but a short-tempered Eddie left shortly after with girlfriend Tracey Edmonds. He snapped: “It’s fine. It happens. It’s OK.”

Murphy wasn’t even around to enjoy his co-stars singing their nominated song or to see Jennifer Hudson win the Best Supporting Actress award.  Eddie should be happy he was nominated for his role considering some of his previous bombs.  Maybe Ellen’s opening monologue where she spoke about the pressure and make or break opportunity was just too much for Gumby! Bobby Brown is in trouble with the law again for not paying up on child support.

A Massachusetts judge sentenced R&B singer Bobby Brown to 30 days in jail on Monday unless he pays $20,000 in child support for two of his children — his second arrest in the state in less than a year.

BOBBY! BOBBY! Why don’t you take care of your kids Bobby! How can this man not have enough money to his name to pay to take care of his kids?  If you can’t take care of all those kids don’t have so many!  This couple gets a reality show and Whitey has money problems and Bobby is back in jail.  They should just get back together and come out with a crack head duets album!

Jason Alexander, Britney’s old friend and first ex-husband, has come forward during her time of need to lend support by exposing her drug use when they hung out in Vegas.

Alexander comes clean and describes a cocaine and ecstasy binge the pair were on before their blink of an eye marriage in Las Vegas. He confessed: “We used ecstasy at night to party and cocaine during the day to stay awake. Then we would take downers like Valium or Vicodin to come down and rest. Britney stayed up three days straight over New Year. I couldn’t keep up,” he tells the Mirror.

“She definitely had a problem with drugs when we were together - and that was three years ago. She has got herself in a cycle which is hard to break.” Jason knows Britney better than anyone.”

I think it’s great that so many people care about celebrities when they are at their low point and they can gain some press by telling dirty secrets. Don’t get me wrong I will enjoy the read, but where was this “friends” when they were married and he knew she needed help? Britney should have married Jason Alexander from Seinfeld because he would have helped her out!

Lawyer: DNA Agreement Reached on James Brown

A lawyer for James Brown’s partner says an agreement has been reached over obtaining DNA samples from the late soul singer’s body.

Lawyers for Brown’s trustees wanted DNA samples to help sort out several paternity claims made against the singer since he died two months ago.

Brown’s partner, Tomi Rae Hynie, originally didn’t like the way the trustees wanted the DNA collected, her lawyer, Robert Rosen said.

But both sides have reached an agreement on how to collect the samples, leading to the cancellation of a hearing scheduled for Tuesday, Rosen told The Augusta (Ga.) Chronicle.

Instead, the lawyers plan to present an order for the judge to sign, Rosen said.

Rosen did not return a phone message from The Associated Press left at his office Tuesday.

Brown, who died on Dec. 25 at the age of 73, has yet to be buried. His trustees have said it would be easier to collect the DNA samples before he is entombed in his final resting place.

Representatives of Hynie and Brown’s six adult children have said they reached an agreement on where to bury the singer, but have not made the arrangements public.

Hynie says she is the singer’s fourth wife and has a child with Brown. She says she wants a paternity test to prove it.

Attorneys for the singer have said Brown and Hynie weren’t legally married when he died because she was married to another man when they said their vows.

Britney Spears‘ recent behavior may be due more to post-partum depression than substance abuse. TMZ sources say that her doctors believe that she either suffers from post-partum depression or bipolar disorder. The doctors strongly believe post-partum is the problem.

As for substance abuse, as one source says, “No doubt about it - she likes to drink.” But doctors believe the drinking is a way Spears has coped with a bigger problem.

Spears is now reading Brooke Shields‘ book, “Down Came the Rain,” where Shields reveals her battle with post-partum depression. We’re told doctors believe Spears’ problem is complicated by an intense feeling on her part that she has lost control of her life.

A red carpet fit for a queen was laid out Tuesday for Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor, who was to celebrate her 75th birthday at a party at a Lake Las Vegas resort.

“Family and friends” of Taylor booked the Medici Cafe and Terrace for the closed party at the Ritz-Carlton, hotel spokeswoman Marina Nicola said.

The guest list remained secret, but 75 people were expected for dinner and cake at the resort, which is 17 miles east of the Las Vegas Strip.

“An official list has not been released but guests will be arriving shortly after Dame Elizabeth,” Nicola said.

Queen Elizabeth II made the British-born Taylor a dame, the equivalent of a knight, in 2000.

Taylor’s closest friends include Michael Jackson, whose spokeswoman confirmed Tuesday in a press release that he is now living in Las Vegas.

The Academy Award-winning actress, who uses a wheelchair because of back problems, last year dismissed tabloid reports that she was being treated for early Alzheimer’s disease or was gravely ill.

Taylor has won two Oscars for best actress and starred in more than 55 films, including “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,” “Butterfield 8,” “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” and “Cleopatra.”

She has been named by the American Film Institute as among the greatest female movie stars of all time.
