Evan Rachel Wood Considers Christmas Album With Marilyn Manson?!
Teenage actress Evan Rachel Wood is considering recording a gothic Christmas album with boyfriend Marilyn Manson. The Thirteen star, 19, has only collaborated with Manson on the karaoke stage, and insists she’d only hit the studio with her beau to rework a few holiday standards.
She says, “If we were going to do anything, that’s what we would do – just because it would be hysterical.”
Wood admits she and Manson are karaoke bar regulars in New York, where they sing tunes like Journey’s Don’t Stop Believing and Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen to baffled club crowds.
She claims singing a karaoke version of her boyfriend’s tunes helped her work her way into his heart.
Wood explains, “I looked at him and said, ‘I’m gonna sing one of your songs.’ I was just threatening, as a joke, but then I saw Lunchbox in the karaoke book. I don’t think he thought I knew the song. I went up (onstage) and just screamed it and sang it, sat back down, and he looked at me and said, ‘I’m so in love with you. You have no idea.’ It was really awesome.”
