Anne Hathaway’s boyfriend cleared of bad check charges
Anne Hathaway’s boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, will not face charges for bouncing a check after The Manhattan District Attorney’s office declined to prosecute him.
Follieri was arrested in April for allegedly writing a $215,000 bad check.
Manhattan DA spokeswoman Tracy Golden said he was cleared because he fully reimbursed John Morrongiello for the $215,000 check Follieri wrote him, and Morrongiello, of Colts Neck, N.J., no longer wishes to pursue the case.
Hathaway, 25, has been dating property developer Follieri, 29, for the past four years. He was expected to appear in Manhattan Criminal Court Monday.
