Eva Longoria Parker’s boss has spilled the beans!

“Eva is desperately trying to get pregnant with [husband] Tony Parker,” Desperate Housewives’ creator and executive producer Marc Cherry told Us Weekly in its latest issue, on newsstands now.

“After they phone their doctor, she promised me I will be the next call,” he added.

The 33-year-old actress is getting a practice pregnancy run at work.

“Gaby is having a very tough time being the mother of two overweight, hyperactive children,” Cherry revealed of the show’s next season, which advances five years. “But Eva is having a marvelous time playing her!”

The Parkers wed last year.

In a 2007 interview with Le Parisien newspaper, Tony Parker said he was eager to have children as quickly as possible.

“That would be even better than my NBA titles, even if I don’t compare private life and sports,” he said. “Eva talks to me about it all the time. I’d like to have girls, because I come from a world of boys.”

Hayden Panettiere hosted the Whaleman Foundation Benefit last night at Beso in Hollywood.  The Whaleman Foundation raises money to prevent the gray whale hunt, Japanese whaling, and deadly sonar.  Hayden has been actively involved in trying to save sea life for quite sometime now and even traveled to Japan to take part in a demonstration.

Who’s responsible for Eva Longoria’s short new do?

“Tony cut my hair!” the actress, 33, tells Entertainment Tonight.

“I had to cut my hair for the show because Gabrielle has short hair,” she says. “I wore a wig in the last episode, but I didn’t want to wear a wig this whole season, so I was like, ‘I’m going to cut it!’”

She says her hairstylist Ken Paves forced Parker to make the first move.

“He said, ‘Tony, you’re going to do the first cut, so she can’t be mad at me,’” she says. “Tony did the first snip. He did more and then he did more and then Kenny cleaned it up.”

She also revealed how she is packing on the pounds the next season of Desperate Housewives.

To make Gabrielle look like she has two kids, Longoria says she now eats “everything in sight! Pasta … pizza.

“Tony and I went crazy this summer!” says Longoria, who also stopped working out.

Her other secret for looking heavier? “I have butt pads, I have thigh pads, I have stomach pads!”

Housewives creator Marc Cherry said at the Television Critics Association on Thursday that he plans to end the ABC series after seven seasons. The fifth season airs this fall.

Fresh from a sunshine break in the Mediterranean, the Desperate Housewives actress decided to toast her return Stateside with a fresh new look.

Losing her formerly luscious, long brown locks, the 33-year-old has gone for a more mumsy, short style.

While her pal Posh’s locks are poker straight, Eva’s natural waves curl around her face, meaning her style looks more similar to that of Tom Cruise’s wife.

The petite “Desperate Housewives” star attended Monday night’s CFDA Awards wearing a pink dress, accessorized with a metallic clutch and what appeared to be a teeny baby bump.

At times, Longoria’s midsection protruded just slightly in that special area, prompting questions that she might be expecting her first child with husband Tony Parker.

If the actress, 33, is pregnant, her form-fitting frock was an odd choice of attire - provided she wants to keep the news under wraps. Most celebs opt for empire-waisted black dresses in the early stages of pregnancy.

Longoria has made no secret of her desire to start a family with her husband. “Tony and I would love to have kids,” she told People magazine last year.

“We do not comment about clients’ personal [lives],” Longoria’s publicist told us Tuesday.

Eva Longoria hosted the Inaugural Stand for Hope! 5K Charity Run/Walk event at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.  The event helps to rise money in support of children with cancer and their families.  This is an excellent cause and hopefully it will continue for year to come.

Eva Longoria Parker took time to dish out Frostys and french fries at a Wendy’s on Tuesday. The Desperate Housewives star worked the drive-thru at the restaurant to help kick off the Father’s Day Frosty Weekend, an event that donates 50 cents for every Frosty sold to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and its signature program Wendy’s Wonderful Kids.
Longoria Parker worked at Wendy’s from 1991 to 1994, the Corpus Christi Caller-Times reported in its online edition.

While the current star of Wisteria Lane dished up fast food, her husband, Tony Parker of the San Antonio Spurs, was preparing for Game 4 of the Lakers-Spurs matchup in San Antonio.

Eva Longoria has revealed she grew up feeling “very unattractive”.

The ‘Desperate Housewives’ actress — who’s married to San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker — said: “I grew up feeling very unattractive and I was probably the least attractive member of my family.

“I felt my sisters were so much more beautiful and I was the one girl who was darker skinned whereas they were much fairer.”

The actress, who was voted No. 10 in COED Magazine Online’s list of Top 20 Sexiest Athlete Wives of 2007, added to Britain’s Heat magazine: “So I was really worried about my appearance and it wasn’t until much later that I kind of blossomed. But in other ways I’m glad I didn’t stand out as being pretty when I was growing up, because it made me that much more focused on my studies.

“I had a few guys chasing me at university, I suppose but it took me a while to get comfortable with that kind of attention.”

Eva, 33, who plays the feisty character of Gabrielle Solis in the ABC television series, added: “I guess I became very competitive about my looks and after I won one competition I started getting into it.

“I would earn money and prizes and it was a great boost to my ego because of all the time as a teenager that I felt ugly.”

Eva Longoria says she wants to move away from Los Angeles and raise her children in Texas when she becomes a mother.

The ‘Desperate Housewives’ actress — who is married to basketball player Tony Parker — said: “Tony and I would both like a big family.

“I come from a family of four girls and Tony comes from a family of three boys. I grew up on a ranch and we grew our own vegetables. I’m very close to my sisters - so Tony and I both want a healthy, big family.

“Growing up in Texas is a great environment, there’s lots of open land and you’re surrounded by nature, which isn’t something you have in a big city. It’s really hard to appreciate nature when you are among all those buildings and cars.”

Eva also revealed she’s ” very monogamous” and “wouldn’t want” to be single.

She added: “I’ve always had a boyfriend and then I met Tony and we got married, so there wasn’t a lot of dating. I love being in a relationship - I’m very monogamous. I wouldn’t want to be single.”

The ‘Desperate Housewives’ actress — who recently celebrated her 30th birthday with a Cluedo-themed party — is trying to persuade the famous couple to join her and husband Tony Parker for a board game foursome.

She said: “Tony has really been trying to get David to play board games like Cluedo, but David is not a big game player. We’re like, ‘Come on David!’”

Eva also revealed she has great respect for Victoria — who has a three sons with David — because, like her, she is devoted her family.

She added to Britain’s OK! magazine: “I really like to surround myself with women who place their family first. She is very devoted and dedicated to her kids and I really respect that.”

Eva insists she and Victoria would pick a girlie night in over a glamorous party.

She said: “We eat! And we hang out at each other’s houses. We don’t go out that much actually. We just do normal girl things when we’re along - we have a meal and a catch up.”

Victoria Beckham and her best bud in LA, Eva Longoria, fresh off her over-indulgent week-long birthday celebration joined forces - and American Express Black cards - and did a little shopping on Beverly Hills’ Rodeo Drive yesterday.

The pair, with Posh’s 5-year-old son Romeo in tow, did the designer boutique tour of the famous street, making stops at Giorgio Armani, Dolce and Gabbana and Yves St. Laurent before stopping for lunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

The trio attracted quite a bit of attention and were swarmed by photographers. Since she was with the notoriously stone-faced Victoria, Eva had the responsibility of smiling and laughing for the two of them.

I feel really sorry for Romeo. I’m sure he really wanted to spend his day shopping - and not even at cool stores like Spencer’s Gifts or even Sharper Image - with his Mom. In a few years, this so won’t be happening anymore.

Eva Longoria fooled photographers into thinking she was having a relationship with Mario Lopez on a new US show.

The Desperate Housewives star played the prank on the paparazzi on ‘Pop Fiction’, the latest vehicle from ‘Punk’d’ producer Ashton Kutcher.

The pair went shopping together in LA, and were spotted by photographers, hanging out.

In the same week, the pair shared an intimate lunch, where Mario presented Longoria with a Cartier necklace in front of a horde of photographers who believed that the Lopez and Longoria were an item.

In another practical joke on the media, actor David Spade fooled photographers into thinking he had pulled a bride on her hen night at an LA nightclub.

When he left LA hotspot, Villa the comic star left with the bride, who was really an actress, in his car as the photographers snapped away.

Pop Fiction’ sees celebrities setting up the paparazzi by acting out false stories in an attempt at exploiting the media and duping then into reporting these untrue stories.

Animal rights group PETA have branded Kate Moss a “super tramp” and Eva Longoria Parker a “streetwalker” in their Worst Dressed List.

In their annual online list, the group also hit out at singers Aretha Franklin - who they crowned Biggest Loser - Kylie Minogue and Marilyn Manson and actress Lindsay Lohan for wearing fur and leather.

Referring to ‘Desperate Housewives’ star Eva, PETA - who “fight for the ethical treatment of animals”, said: “Eva Longoria is short on compassion. In her trashy furs, she looks like the streetwalker of Wisteria Lane. Eva is one ‘Desperate Housewife’ in need of a quickie divorce - from her stylist.”

Talking about British supermodel Kate Moss, PETA fumed: “Nothing completes the transition from supermodel to super tramp like a fur coat. If Kate could see clearly through those bleary eyes, maybe she would clear her closet of those furs.”

Lindsay was branded a “mean girl” for wearing fox fur, while Aretha was told to have some “R-E-S-P-E-C-T for animals”.

Aussie pop princess Kylie Minogue was blasted for her penchant for python-skin bags.

The campaign group said: “What does Kylie Minogue have in common with her python purse? They are both cold-blooded. Come on Kylie, it’s not cool to clutch an accessory made by nailing snakes to a tree and skinning them alive.”

Previous winners of the Worst Dressed title include Paris Hilton, Kimberly Stewart and Nicole Richie.

Eva - who is married to San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker - was spotted admiring furniture and clothes in Los Angeles’ exclusive Petit Trésor children’s boutique .

A source told Star magazine: “She and a girlfriend were ooh-ing and ahh-ing over all the baby things. She looked at cribs, changing tables and inquired about designing a nursery.

“She bought a $116 Robbie Adrian blanket and a half-dozen Huddy Buddy Babygros, including one that proclaimed, ‘I tend to drool’.”

Eva - who married basketball player Tony in a lavish ceremony last year - has made no secret of her desire to have children.

She recently revealed: “I’ve always loved the idea of having lots of children. If I’m around any baby, I’m like, ‘Aaaaahhhh, babies!’

“I was pretty ambitions when I moved to Hollywood and I succeeded. But now I’ve found new ambitions - I want to work, I want to be a great wife and I want to have children. This is a new chapter in my life. I will be very sad to go but I’ll have more time to do movies.”

Eva recently denied rumors she was pregnant, claiming her recent weight gain was down to the recent Hollywood writers strike as she couldn’t go to work. “No pregnancy, not yet. In his first interview since being the target of infidelity rumors, Tony Parker tells a French newspaper, he was “shocked” to find himself wrapped up in an Internet scandal. “It’s the most bizarre episode in my life,” the 25-year old San Antonio Spurs star told Le Parisien.

Speaking to French journalist Bertrand-Regis Louvet, Parker also knocked down rumors that wife Eva Longoria is pregnant. “Not for the moment. Eva and I talk about it but with our careers it isn’t the right moment,” he says. “Right now, we’re enjoying the young married life. Because of the writers’ strike, Eva has spent a lot of the last three months with me in San Antonio. When she’s working, we see each other less.”

For the most part, Parker says 2007 was a “fabulous” year but hit a nasty bump in December when allegations that he had an affair with a French model popped up on the Web.

At the time, Longoria stood up for Parker, calling him “nothing short of the perfect husband.”

Around the same time, Parker’s attorney released a statement, saying Parker “denies ever having laid eyes on this woman, let alone having had an affair with her.”

“I’ve never hired an attorney in my life, and then all of a sudden, in two weeks, there’s three totally false charges brought out,” he said, referring to the accusations posted on online.

“What shocked me the most was the wickedness of people,” he added. “Without doubt, I’m going to have to protect myself a little more.”
