A very pregnant Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny worked the red carpet last night at Mann’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood for the premiere of their long awaited sequel The X-Files: I Want to Believe.  The film itself is being met with some mixed reviews, but that won’t keep away die hard fans that have been clamoring for a sequel since the original hit theaters.  There are already some spoilers out there for you to find or you can just click here to read the juicy details.  So who out there will be catching this one this weekend??? One of the most hyped films of 2009 with be The Watchmen. The movie is based on a 12 part graphic monthly that ran from 1985 - 1986.   the characters and their costumes leaked back in march, but this is the first clip from the film.   The movie will hit theaters March 9, 2009 and the trailer has hit the net and is already on fire!  See the Trailer here!

The always gorgeous and hysterical Anna Faris is back with her latest comedy House Bunny.  Anna plays a Playboy Bunny that lives the life in the Playboy Mansion until she turns 27 and is too old to be part of the Hefner collection of girlfriends.  She finds herself all alone and looking for a new place to live.  She end up and a sorority that is in desperate need of her help.  House Bunny hits theaters August 22 and stars Katherine McPhee, Kat Dennings, Emma Stone,  and Beverly D’Angelo.  See the new trailer here and some still on the flip.

Lindsay Lohan took her usual stroll on the set of Labor Pains yesterday in a very nice orange top that showed just the right amount of cleavage.  From he front Lindsay is looking good, but the girl has to work on her posture because she has some slouching shoulders.  Maybe she need more calcium in her diet to strengthen her bones.  I guess she is happy with Sam because she was even smiling while strolling around.

X-Files: I Want To Believe hits theaters on July 25th and for those of you that have waited years for his sequel to hit the big screen you might want to turn around and run from your computer now so you will not be tempted.  On the next page you will find major spoilers for the movie that will give away serious plot points.  I have not read them or looked at them—just a quick copy and paste so you can take it for what it is worth.  David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are watching so don’t piss them off!

THIS SPOILERS ARE JUST POSSIBLE - PLEASE TAKE THEM WITH A GRAIN OF SALT

- Mulder and Scully have not been separated the past 6 years. The first shippy scene has them spooning in bed. Throughout the entire first part of the movie, their conversations are light and comfortable, including the one that takes place in Mulder’s office when he still has a beard.
- They talk about William.
- During the movie they break up over a disagreement concerning their future and in true Mulder and Scully style, they create some pretty impressive angst.
- The second to last scene of the movie is the one that got leaked by Flynet -with Mulder and Scully kissing. It starts out as a goodbye scene, but they literally ‘kiss and make up’. Chris Carter (though my money’s on Frank) does indeed like happy endings.
- The real ‘happy ending’ doesn’t occur until almost after the credits (so be sure to remain seated!), but it’s too bizarre to even describe it, so you will just have to wait and see.
- The plot is a little incomprehensible and not really interesting. It’s not scary either, but YMMV. I got the impression that at that times it was so hard to figure out what was going on that it took away from all the scariness.
- All in all, the movie is very shipper heavy and plot light.

Miley Cyrus is back at work for Disney making a new Hannah Montana movie , Paradise Cove, in Malibu, CA.  Today Miley got to have some fun sporting a blonde wig and being carried around on a surf board by a bunch of guys that would get thrown in jail for even looking at her…nice how Disney respects the age barrier.   Expect the movie to end up on screen sometime in 2009.

For gamers out there Max Payne will always be atop their list of kick ass cop shooter games.  Hell even my wife got hooked on the original and the sequel.  The movie adaptation starring Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis will hear theaters this October. Check out the trailer here!

Your favorite group of friends are taking their little show to the big screen.  The entire cast of Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer will reprise their roles for a big-screen adaptation if their hit Friends sitcom that ran on NBC for a decade.  The success of Sex and the City was the turning point that got everyone on board.

‘As the biggest star of the Friends franchise, Jennifer can’t help but look at what’s happened with Sarah Jessica Parker and the Sex And The City film and be a little jealous.

I understand the desire to make the film for some of the cast that haven’t found much success in the years following the shows end, but will it be possible to take this show and create a movie?  We already know who is together, who have babies, and there was no real drama for a film. Will be a feel good Friends with kids type thing.  Wonder if they will mention Joey’s failed sitcom in the movie??

Sean William Scott, better known as Stiffler, is in Miami promoting his new movie The Promotion.  While he tried to hide his face while making his way though the Miami airport he seemed much friendlier at his hotel pool later in the day.  It seems some bikini clad ladies were trying to work their charms on the American Pie alum.  On girl was trying so hard to impress SWS that her ass actually decided to eat her bikini thinking that might help matters some.  I am not sure if that was a good idea or not after looking at the pictures though.

The actress let it slip to host Billy Eichner during the Creation Nation comedy show at the Zipper Theater on Apr. 15 that “a character dies in the movie.” And in turn, Nixon made the SATC movie — dare we say — interesting.

So now the question becomes which character dies?  The early odds are on Mr. Big dropping over dead from years of smoking, drinking, and stress which will lead to a movie about how Carrie overcomes and is once again a single girl int he city.  This could open up room for a sequel, but this is just a rumor.

Lindsay Lohan wants to be taken seriously as an actress and in an attempt to revive her slumping career has offered to bare it all in an upcoming independent film. Lohan will appear in the movie Florence as a nymphomaniac waitress and has offered to show us more than we saw in her New York Magazine photo shoot.

An insider told The Sun: “Lindsay doesn’t care she’s getting paid peanuts. She wants to remind people she can act and that she is worth hiring.”

Another source added: “She is fully aware of the potential of her body. Lindsay wants to build up an image as a mature, responsible actress.”

Also, the source reports that although the script only requires LiLo to show her boobs, she offered to go all the way down and strip completely. “She said it would be no problem to go Full Monty,” added the insider. Thankfully, the producers refused to go along with her very helpful offer.

Now she will only be making about $75,000 for her role in this movie so the odds of it losing money should be slim. If she does bare it all you know people will go just for the curiosity factor of weather or not the crotch really is made of fire! Either way when you want to be taken seriously as an actor the best way to accomplish that is by getting completely naked in a low budget independent film. That’s how Jenna Jameson did it!

The Incredible Hulk returns to the big screen on June 13 and this time it’s Ed Norton taking on the role of Bruce Banner. The trailer was just released earlier today and it looks so much better than the 2003 version. Ed Norton alone makes this a better film. Starring alongside Norton are Liv Tyler, Tim Roth, and William Hurt.

DC Comics’ twelve part monthly from 1985-1986, Watchmen, is coming to the big screen in March 2009.  The first pictures of the characters in their costumes have been released and they look cool.  I have never read the watchmen, but I think I might have to catch up on the story set in an alternate reality in 1985.

Justin Timberlake will be appearing in the latest Mike Myers blockbuster this summer, The Love Guru. In the film he plays a professional hockey player that starts dating the wife of a rival player. Myers job is to get the wife back with her husband and help the Toronto Maple Leafs win the Stanley Cup. The film stars Myers, Timberlake, and Jessica Alba. Look for it in theaters June 20.

This Valentine’s Day all you ladies that want to drag your boyfriend for an inexpensive date Ryan Reynold has a new movie out. His latest feature is not an action or a low brow comedy, but a romantic comedy about finding the love of your life. You knew a spoof had to come out eventually poking fun at Spiderman, Batman, the Fantastic Four and more.  Well get ready because it is opening on March 28 in theaters everywhere and it is called Superhero Movie.  Don’t forget the Movie at the end because that is part o the title.  On the good side the movie is directed by David Zucker from Airplane! fame so I have some hope.  The preview has some decent moments and it has to be better than the latest Epic movie that just hit number on at the box office.  The only thing that has me confused is how to you spoof the Fantastic Four films?  Weren’t they both spoofs to begin with or is Jessica Alba just that bad of an actress?
