First Morgan Freeman announces he is getting divorced now Dixie Chick Emily Robison is already divorced.  The paperwork was filed way back in January and it is now official that Emily and her now ex-husband, Charlie Robison, have ended their 9 year marriage.    The couple have three children together.

The girls from Danity Kane, the guys from Day 26, and Donnie are back for another season of Making the Band 4 on MTV.  With the growing fame of DK and Day 26 this should be an interesting season to watch.  Donnie has been more or less left behind in as the two groups enjoy some success so you can bet you sill see more of him on the show as Diddy tries to create a money maker.  Also returning is Laurie Ann Gibson who had a falling out and was supposedly fired by Diddy last season.  The show will kick off August 13 at 9PM on MTV.

Hip Hop DJ Khia “K-Swift” Edgerton passed away after suffering a head injury in a swimming pool at her home in Baltimore, Maryland.  K-Swift has been on the scene in Baltimore since before she was a teenager and is known as the Club Queen for her intense club mixes.Leave a commnet of respect on her My Space page.

I have stated in the past that I am not a fan of country music.  I am not saying that there is anything wrong with it, but it just isn’t my style.  However, i will say that female country singers to tend to be stunning and new country addition Jessica Simpson just backs up that statement.  Jessica performed and Country Thunder USA Festival in Wisconsin over the weekend in some sexy short daisy dukes and a pair of cowboy boots.   No i am not sure if Jessica will find success in country music with her songs, but she will be fun to watch in concert.
