New York City had to deal with Ashley Dupre and her dealing with Eliot Spitzer now a new scandal involving a gorgeous Swedish model is making the front pages of the local tabloids.  It seems that the stunning Sabina Johansson was working at a local adult club that promoted prostitution.  Sabina has appeared on the Tyra Banks show and in an Avril Lavigne video, but her true calling is apparently arranging for strippers and patrons to find more than just some lap dances according to police.

Johansson, a brown-haired beauty who proudly boasts of her 34-24-34 frame on her modeling Web site, worked at Big Daddy Lou’s from January 2007 until she quit just days before cops raided the club July 17.

As the house mom, Johansson allegedly collected nightly fees of up to $80 from the club’s 120 dancers, scheduled shifts and rented out the private rooms and suites, prosecutors claim.

Ashley Dupre shot to fame after it was revealed that she was the high priced call girl that was frequented by the now former Governor of New York. Well it seems Ashley has a thing for older, wealthy, married men and she is back in the saddle again.  This time Ashley was enjoying time with a married father of two from New Jersey.

Ashley, 23, and her new guy, 35-year-old Thomas J. Earle were spotted entering the Gramercy Park Hotel where they rented a room on Tuesday following a long day of drinking, dining, shopping and snuggling up together in limos around the city. Wednesday afternoon the two left the hotel separately, leaving the hotel 10 minutes apart, as if to avoid being photographed together.

Lindsay Lohan is back in New York to do another stint on the ABC show Ugly Betty.  Lohan was scene walking and texting - which is apparently all she does these days - on the set yesterday in blue pants and red tank top.  I am going to make the assumption that the blue pants are part of her wardrobe because they are not all that flattering.

Alicia Keys was on hand for the premiere of the HBO documentary We Are Together last night New York.  Alicia was looking beautiful in a strapless dress that showed of her incredible glow — that could just be baby oil or some lotion, but i am sticking with natural glow!  The film has already claimed the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival Audience Award.

Well I am back from my first anniversary vacation to Aruba and I am playing some catch up  on the gossip that was this past week. Well Eva Mendes was in New York and looking incredible in a simple white dress.  I believe that Eva is one of the most attractive women in Hollywood and she always looking on point when she is caught on camera.  Take in he fact that she is not a believer in wearing a bra as just a nice added bonus.

The ladies of Sex and the City were all on hand last night for their premiere at Radio City Music Hall in midtown Manhattan.  All of the ladies worked the red carpet looking glamorous, but Jennifer Hudson went with the spaceman outfit that I wasn’t a fan of.  I would have to say she was the worst dressed of the evening.   The movie opens wide this Friday, May 30.

David Blaine, who became a household name doing street magic shows on ABC, is coming back to New York for another endurance effort. Some of his previous events have included standing on a pillar, living in water, being buried alive, and now his greatest trick yet - he will stay awake for 13 days! Yeah didn’t really get me all that excited either, but he is apparently taking it seriously.

“I’m down from 230 to 195 in seven weeks,” he said. “Daily it’s either Cipriani’s gym on Wall Street or one on 19th Street. Trainer Rich Baretta has me doing cardio workouts, core training, high repetitions. And I run 13 miles a week around Central Park’s reservoir. In cold weather, I run on machines. Two hours on a treadmill with 21/2-inch incline so the speed has no impact on my knees. My heart rate is at 140, not fast.”

Now I have no idea how being thin will help you stay awake longer. Do fat people find it easier to fall asleep or something? His last few stunts seem to draw crowds, but it is like watching paint dry for 13 days. This will take place later in 2008 in Central Park so feel free to go throw stuff at him to help him stay awake.

An explosion by a steam pipe near Grand Central Station in New York has opened a 15-by-25 foot crater. One woman has been reported dead from the accident after suffering a heart attack when running from the explosion.

Tests also now confirm that the debris from the explosion did contain asbestos.
