NICOLE Kidman and Keith Urban have reportedly rejected several multi-million dollar offers to publish the first pictures of their newborn daughter Sunday Rose.

The new mum and her singer husband are undecided whether to release a photograph of the newborn tot, but if they do it will be for free, reports The Sydney Morning Herald.

A source said, “They don’t think it’s appropriate to make deals. They are still deciding how they feel about (it) - if and when they will release a photo at all. But they realise there is enormous interest from the public and they are grateful and appreciative of that.

“Nicole and Keith have been enjoying their first few days at home with their firstborn tot - Nicole is thinking about things like breastfeeding right now.”

Kidman gave birth in Nashville, Tennessee last week to Sunday Rose, who weighed 2.93 kilograms.

The tot is Kidman’s first biological child. She adopted 15-year-old Isabella and Connor, 13, during her marriage to Tom Cruise.

Nicole Kidman and her husband, Keith Urban, have welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, born Monday morning in Nashville, PEOPLE has confirmed.

“Husband Keith was by Nicole’s side, and mother and baby are very well,” said spokesman Paul Freundlich, who added that the couple were “delighted” to make the announcement. He also said the baby girl weighed 6 lbs., 7.5 oz.

The pregnancy was first announced in January. Kidman has two other children with her former husband Tom Cruise: Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13.

In the days leading up to the birth, the couple – who celebrated their second wedding anniversary on June 25 – didn’t stray from their normal routine in and around Nashville, where they reside in a gated community.

From early morning stops at a local Starbucks for warm drinks to a little sweat at the gym later in the day (Kidman was a regular at spin and yoga classes during her pregnancy), the couple remained low-key.

“She’s never been happier and healthier,” says a close family friend. “She is absolutely radiant and enjoying nesting and homemaking with Keith at their new home in Nashville.”

But getting ready for their baby was a priority. Urban admitted he was learning a new vocabulary for fatherhood and doing Lamaze lessons. “He doesn’t know the name [of the classes], but he has been very good at it!” Kidman told a local radio station on June 24.

The new parents also bought a couple of books to help them along: Pocket Dad: Everyday Wisdom and Your Pregnancy, Week By Week.

“The unknown excites me a lot,” Urban told reporters in May. “What kind of feelings will fatherhood bring? I’m sure I can’t even imagine, but I am really looking forward to finding out.”

“So it would be nice to have 50,000 people sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to her,” he said – and brought Kidman on stage for a stadium-sized sing-a-long for the actress, who turned 41 on Friday.

A surprised and glowing Kidman, in a long flowing black floral tank top dress, blew the audience a kiss and returned backstage when the song finished. The couple are awaiting the birth of their first child, due any day.

Nicole Kidman has launched a scathing attack on ex-husband Tom Cruise — accusing the actor of “manipulating” their adopted children.

The actress, who’s expecting her first biological children with current husband Keith Urban, says Cruise — who she divorced in 2001 — has turned their adopted kids Isabella and Connor against her.

She says, “It’s a pity they have been manipulated by the father to distance themselves from me.”

Nicole Kidman is being lined up to play Dusty Springfield in a new movie.

Kidman, 40, is set to team with Michael Cunningham, who scripted her Oscar-winning role as Virginia Woolf in The Hours.

The film will chronicle the rise to fame of the late British pop legend — who died of breast cancer in 1999 — and her battles with drugs, booze and mental health problems.

Michael said the script will not shy away from her bisexuality. He added: “It will be the real Dusty, a great artist who no one knew what to do with.

“But she is going into history with The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.”

Nicole Kidman couldn’t be happier her 13-year-old son is following in her famous footsteps and has landed his first movie role.

The pregnant actress’ rep said in a statement that Kidman is “really excited for Connor”.

Connor, who was adopted by the ‘Stepford Wives’ star and her then husband Tom Cruise in 1995, landed  a minor, non-speaking role as a young Will Smith in the drama Seven Pounds, about a man who affects the lives of seven strangers.

He shot his part over two days more than a month ago.

The Columbia Pictures film, which is directed by Gabriele Muccino, and still in production, also co-stars Woody Harrelson, Rosario Dawson and Barry Pepper.

And even with Tom and Nicole as parents, Connor still had to audition for the part.

And his famous father is happy with his teenage son, too. “Tom is so proud of Connor,” a source said earlier this week. “He’s proud of him for really doing this on his own.”

Nicole Kidman is campaigning to stop violence against women.

“Obviously, I’m emotionally connected to this,” Kidman, 40, said of her commitment during a press conference Tuesday at United Nations headquarters in New York. “I’m a mother. I have a child on the way. A lot of it is realizing the things that are wrong and [pondering] how can I contribute to help my children have a better life?”

The actress, who has 2 adopted children with ex-husband Tom Cruise, and is expecting her first child with husband Keith Urban later this year, has been a goodwill ambassador for the U.N. Development Fund for Women since 2006. She spoke passionately about the need to curb violence against women – which she called the “most widespread human rights violation of our time.”

Though 89 countries have laws on domestic violence, more than 100 have made rape a crime, 90 have provisions against sexual harassment, and 93 on human trafficking, U.N. statistics show that some progress is being made, and Kidman noted that “one in three women will encounter violence in some way, shape or form against them in their lifetime.”

She added, “That’s an extraordinary statistic. Yet do we ever hear it?”

“I’ve had severe morning sickness,” the pregnant actress, 40, told Access Hollywood on Monday — when she and her country music star husband Keith Urban hit the red carpet at the CMT Awards in Nashville.

The ‘Stepford Wives’ star, who was sporting a figure-hugging red dress that showed off her expanding baby bump, also admitted to wondering if the most difficult part is yet to come.

The couple bought a home just down the road from her ex Tom Cruise in L.A.’s Brentwood neighborhood, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The house, which has five bedrooms, is located at the end of a cul-de-sac and features rolling lawns, koi ponds and city views, as well as 5,600 square feet.

‘Stepford Wives’ actress Kidman last lived in the neighborhood with ex Cruise, but sold that home four years ago for $10.5 million after her divorce was finalized.

Kidman and country music star Urban, both 40, who married in June 2006, will welcome their first child together in July.

Nicole Kidman is on the hunt for a new home — and her number one priority is to find a property near best pal Naomi Watts.

After spending time with her kids — Connor, 13, and daughter Isabella, 15 — at Watts’ L.A. pad, the Hollywood star got her people to do a spot of house hunting on her behalf.

“Nicole had her people call Naomi’s next-door neighbors to ask if they would be interested in selling their house — even though it wasn’t on the market,” a source says of Kidman — who’s married to country music star Keith Urban, and often stays at Watts’ house.

The neighbors refused Nicole’s offer, but Kidman has continued in her quest to find her perfect house — and is looking at properties in the $8m range.

“Her favorite property so far is a Nantucket-style home. Although the home is not on Naomi’s block, it is within walking distance,” the source adds to Us Weekly magazine.

Nicole Kidman looked a picture of happiness as she visited Sydney’s Bondi Beach today.

The pregnant star was glowing as she strolled along the promenade with her husband Keith Urban in hand and her budding baby bump on show.

The star abandoned her usual Hollywood glamour for a casual summertime look, and in a sign she is more relaxed than ever, she even removed her shoes for the afternoon walk.

It was a change of pace for the 40-year-old, who was regularly seen in the throws of vigorous outdoor workouts with her personal trainer while in LA last month.

Later, the pair made a visit to Nicole’s obstetrician before returning to their home in the exclusive harbour side suburb of Darling Point.

Nicole appeared to be revelling in her reunion with her country singer husband, who has been on tour in the US.

He is also scheduled to perform a string of concerts in Australia, kicking off in Byron Bay on Thursday.

Of the impending arrival, Nicole has said: “I’m so happy. I can’t ask for anything more… except big boobs.”

On Friday, a video emerged of longtime bodyguard David Micheal Garris attacking a Flynet photographer named Jeremy. Garris, irked that the lenser was following him and the pregnant actress to a gym in Santa Monica, pulled over his car, went up to Jeremy and repeatedly punched him in the head. On tape, Jeremy is heard screaming as Garris leans through his car window and pummels him. Later, an ambulance was called, and photos show Jeremy bloodied and bruised. Police are “investigating.”

Hollywood beauty Nicole Kidman has urged pal Renée Zellweger to put on weight - and is calling her everyday to ensure she eats and doesn’t overexercise.

Nicole, concerned by her pal’s fragile appearance, has reportedly ordered the Bridget Jones star to gain 10lb by the end of April.

Nicole - who has battled with her own weight in the past - has turned over a new leaf since falling pregnant with her first child, preferring to be healthy rather than skinny.

A source close to Nicole - who was saddened by Zellweger’s frail appearance before the Oscars last month - said: “Nicole was lost for words when she and Renée met up in Los Angeles the Friday before the Oscars for a bite to eat.

“Although they’re in regular contact by phone it’s been a few months since they got together in person.

“During that time, Renée’s been working out like a fiend.

“The muscles around her shoulders are bulging, her arms are veiny and popping with muscle and her clothes hang off her body.

“She doesn’t have an ounce of fat on her.

“Nicole was so concerned that she ordered on Renée’s behalf, telling the waiter to bring a cheeseburger with fries - even though Renée had just ordered a salad for herself.”

Nicole - who has been friends with Renée, 38, since she starred with her then husband Tom Cruise in the 1996 film Jerry Maguire - told her straight that she believes she is overdoing it at the gym in order to compensate for her lack of a love life.

Nicole has seen Renée’s weight yo-yo in recent years; ever since she was forced to pile on the pounds for her role in the 2004 film Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, and following her break-ups with previous lovers, including Kenny Chesney and Jack White.

“The difference now is that Renée’s love life is totally dead,” the friend tells Britain’s Now Magazine in its latest issue. “Her whole life is working and working out.

“In Nicole’s view, Renée is taking exercise too seriously.”

When Nicole told Renée she needed to eat more, the actress laughed it off, insisting her weight loss was down to the “usual dieting” every actress does before the prestigious Oscars ceremony.

Nicole, 40, has now launched a plan of action to help her pal gain weight - and is urging the star to gain at least 10lb by April.

“She gives Renée little nudges hinting that she’ll find a boyfriend when she gains some weight,” the source says of Nicole - who is calling Renée on a daily basis to ensure she is eating properly. “Nicole keeps telling Renée: ‘Men like woman with a bit of meat on their bones’.”

“Hopefully when she’s a bit more relaxed about her shape, she’ll find a man.”

When contacted for comment, Renée’s rep, Leslie Sloane insisted, “There is no story here.”
