Paris Hilton didn’t do enough pledging for a 2006 sorority comedy, according to a lawsuit filed Tuesday.

Worldwide Entertainment Group Inc. filed the lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Miami, alleging the 27-year-old model-actress-heiress owes $75,000 in damages for not fulfilling promotional obligations.

Hilton entered into an agreement in 2004 for the production and distribution of the movie “National Lampoon’s Pledge This!,” according to the lawsuit. Hilton starred in the film and received credit as an executive producer.

The Miami-based concern said it paid Hilton and her company, Paris Hilton Entertainment Inc., $1 million for “Hilton’s acting services” and for “reasonable promotion and publicity” for the movie, which was released in 2006 and featured Hilton as the president of an exclusive sorority.

While most famous for her tabloid exploits and reality TV series “The Simple Life,” Hilton has appeared in the films “Bottoms Up,” “The Hottie & the Nottie” and “House of Wax.”

She’s slated to next appear in the movie musical “Repo! The Genetic Opera” and the tentatively titled MTV reality series “Paris Hilton’s My New BFF.”

Phone calls and e-mails to Hilton’s manager, Jason Moore, were not immediately returned Tuesday.

With money no object, the search for thrills must be challenge.

But for heiress Paris Hilton, the simple fun of a roller-coaster still holds its appeal.

The star hit the rides with boyfriend Benji Madden while on a visit to the Tivoli Gardens amusement park in the Danish capital yesterday.

The 27-year-old was all smiles as they toured the venue, but Benji didn’t appear to be such a fan of heights, barely mustering a smile as their carriage plunged up and down.

Paris arrived in Copenhagen on Monday to promote her new collection of handbags at an international fashion house.

Despite her obvious enjoyment of childhood pleasures, Paris insists she’s matured in recent months thanks to her new relationship.

She says: ‘I just feel like a grown-up now.

‘I think my whole life I was kind of living as a teenager and not really taking responsibility.
‘Now I realize that I’m an adult and I’m running a huge company and I’m in love. I’m in a great relationship. I have my family. I’m just excited for life.’

But she stops short of wedding talk, insisting the pair are in no rush to walk down the aisle.

She added: ‘We’re so in love and so happy right now and it’s only been like six months.

‘So we’ll see what happens, but we’re so in love and so happy and things have never been better. I finally have a nice guy.’

Kathy Hilton has responded to Republican presidential candidate John McCain’s ad, which features shots of her daughter Paris and Britney Spears. (Watch above).

“I’ve been asked again and again for my response to the now infamous McCain celebrity ad,” Hilton told The Huffington Post. “I actually have three responses. It is a complete waste of the money John McCain’s contributors have donated to his campaign. It is a complete waste of the country’s time and attention at the very moment when millions of people are losing their homes and their jobs. And it is a completely frivolous way to choose the next President of the United States.

Meanwhile, Paris’ rep told Usmagazine.com: “Miss Hilton was neither asked, nor did she give permission, for the use of her likeness in the ad, and has no further comment.”

The Obama campaign responded in a statement: “On a day when major news organizations across the country are taking Senator McCain to task for a steady stream of false, negative attacks, his campaign has launched yet another. Or, as some might say, ‘Oops! He did it again.’”

McCain’s campaign reportedly is spending $140,000 a day to run the ad in battleground states, Foxnews.com reported.

“We’re running against a celebrity. He is someone who gathered throngs of fans overseas,” McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds told FOX News on Saturday.

McCain’s team attacked Obama again, Saturday, for agreeing to three presidential debates, but not at town hall like McCain wanted.

“It’s disappointing that Senator Obama has refused his offer to do joint town hall meetings,” McCain spokesman Brian Rogers said in a statement. “We understand it might be beneath a worldwide celebrity of Barack Obama ’s magnitude to appear at town hall meetings alongside John McCain and directly answer questions from the American people, but we hope he’ll reconsider.”

Barack Obama just another Britney Spears or Paris Hilton?

Not John McCain’s best shot, says the Democrat’s camp after the Republican likened him to the two celebrities in a new commercial.

“On a day when major news organizations across the country are taking Sen. McCain to task for a steady stream of false, negative attacks, his campaign has launched yet another,” says Obama spokesman Tommy Vietor. “Or, as some might say, ‘Oops! He did it again.’”

Counter’s McCain campaign strategist Steve Schmidt: “It’s beyond dispute that [Obama] has become the biggest celebrity in the world. But do the American people really want to elect the biggest celebrity in the world?”

In the ad, images of Spears, Hilton and Obama appear on the screen as a voiceover says, “He’s the biggest celebrity in the world. But is he ready to lead?”

McCain’s campaign manager says they chose to include Spears and Hilton in the ad because the women’s names came up second and third in a search for the top three international celebrities in the world.

Spears’ spokesman had no comment, while Hilton’s rep could not be reached.

PARIS HILTON has landed back in trouble with the law - for driving badly.

The socialite-turned-actress was pulled over by California traffic cops on Tuesday after they spotted her weaving through traffic on the 134 freeway in Glendale.

After explaining to the cops that she was lost, Hilton was let off with a warning.

The 27-year-old has a history of driving offenses; including driving under the influence (DUI), speeding, driving with a suspended license and driving
without headlights at night.

She served 23 days of a 45-day jail sentence in June 2007 for violating probation on a 2006 drink driving charge.

Yesterday, the celebutard claimed on her blog to “set the record straight” and denied our stories about her moving next to Nicole Richie and trying unsuccessfully to buy a dog from a Melrose Avenue pet store. But having dealt with Hilton for years, we know better than to take her word for anything. When we saw her several years ago ordering vodka with no ice, she later insisted it was water. It wasn’t. When we wrote that her ring from ex-fiancé Paris Latsis was a fake, she vowed to send us a certificate of authenticity. She never did. When we wrote that the parents of her ex, Stavros Niarchos, refused to meet her or be in pictures with her, she vowed to send us the photos, but they never came. When we wrote that she once smoked marijuana in front of our staff, she said she’d take a drug test. We’re still waiting. No wonder that now, even the least suspicious of flacks won’t rep her. So, Paris, we’ll leave you with this: Just because you say something doesn’t make it true.

No strangers to drama, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie had local security on high alert over the weekend.

Things got tense around 2 a.m. Sunday when Hilton’s ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos realized she and boyfriend Benji Madden of the rock group Good Charlotte were being seated close to the Greek shipping heir at Blush nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas.

Witnesses said Niarchos dashed out of the club as soon as he saw the couple. The rocker reportedly has a beef with Niarchos, who wasn’t taking any chances, given his hasty solo exit.

About 45 minutes earlier, Richie, who recently had a baby with Joel Madden, Benji’s brother, was involved in a catfight in the valet area at the Hard Rock Hotel.

Security whisked Richie away, according to spies.

Hilton and Richie had attended the Good Charlotte concert at the Hard Rock pool before joining the Maddens and entertainment producer Jeff Beacher at Wasted Space, Carey Hart’s new club at the hotel.

Richie, whose daughter is 5 months old, recently vowed she would not be getting in trouble anymore “because I want my child to look up to me. … I want to show her the right path.”

The Hilton family spent some time last night getting some culture as they attended the Photographer’ Gallery Presents: “The Good Life” photographs by Murray Garrett and Slim Aarons to benefit P.S. Arts, Organization for Children’s Arts Education in Los Angeles, CA.  Paris can look so innocent when she wants, but we all know when the night vision is rolling she is a naughty girl.  I always though Paris was a bit on the thin side, but Nicky makes her look like a plus size model in comparison.  Rumor has it when Paris and Nicky walked around the gallery their legs created high pitched cricket like noises that really concerned some people.

Paris Hilton is making good on her promise to become a better person.

The 27-year-old socialite made an “extremely generous” donation toward the construction of a medical building at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, hospital officials said Thursday, although they did not specify the amount.

“The children I have met through my involvement with Childrens Hospital have truly touched my heart,” Hilton said in a statement. “I am proud to make a donation and lend my name to the fundraising effort to help children who are facing terribly serious illnesses.”

The 460,000-square-foot Childrens Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases is expected to open in 2010.

After spending about 23 days in jail last year for violating probation on alcohol-related reckless driving charges, Hilton told CNN’s Larry King the experience caused her to re-evaluate the role partying played in her life. She said she wanted “to help raise money for kids and for breast cancer and multiple sclerosis.”

They all drove to the city in the back of a chauffered Cadillac Escalade and were taken to Tao for the Swedish Midsummer Night Party, where MTV producers prodded Hilton about what to do for the cameras because her ex, Stavros Niarchos, was also there. “They coached her the whole time,” said a spy. “The two didn’t even make eye contact, let alone speak to each other. There was certainly a lot of tension in the air.” Next stop was Tenjune, where Hilton danced till the wee hours.

Socialite PARIS HILTON was turned away from a pet store in Los Angeles this past weekend after employees refused to let her buy a puppy - because she reportedly just wanted the pooch to accompany her in a photoshoot.

The hotel heiress was on her way to a photoshoot when she stopped at The Puppy Store on Melrose Avenue to buy a Yorkie.
But she was banned from doing so by one of the store workers because they saw it as “an impulse buy”.

An insider tells the New York Post’s gossip column Page Six, “(She) wanted a puppy in the picture with her so it would look cuter.”
And when she was knocked back, puppy-loving Hilton allegedly went “ballistic”.

Rockers Good Charlotte have given guitarist Benji Madden’s girlfriend Paris Hilton a warm welcome into their family, after showing up to watch the heiress shoot the first episode of her new reality TV series.

Earlier this week, Madden and his fellow bandmates were present to lend their support to Hilton as she began filming My New BFF (Best Friend Forever), a TV competition in which 20 hopefuls compete for the chance to be the socialite’s confidante.

And, in an entry posted Friday on her weblog, Hilton admits she is grateful for the group’s encouragement: “Him (Madden) and his friends came out to support me. I love how he’s always there for me, he always knows how to make me smile. Life is amazing, couldn’t be happier, excited for what the future holds.”

Updating his own blog on the same day, Madden hints fans will be pleased with the programme: “When you are part of the GC (Good Charlotte) family, everybody comes out to support. We had a fun night watching them shoot the show.
