PENELOPE Cruz doesn’t want to publicly show off her relationship with Javier Bardem, but he’s showing her off to his family. Cruz, who was snapped with Bardem’s mom after the Oscars, threw a private party for her trophy-toting beau at Villa on Sunday night. Bardem’s family flew in from Spain to meet Cruz and partied with the couple - along with the Oscar-winning Coen brothers - at the West Hollywood hot spot. One onlooker told us, “He took Penelope for a spin on the dance floor in front of all his family. It’s getting pretty serious.”

While Penelope Cruz celebrated boyfriend Javier Bardem’s Oscar-night triumph in Hollywood, her younger–and, dare we say it, more breathtaking?–sister, Monica, was basking in retro-fashion at Christian Dior’s Fall/Winter show, as part of the Paris Fashion Week.
Monica, 30, pulled up a front-row seat as Dior’s creative director, John Galliano, showcased a groovy body of work that harked back to the days of bouffant hairdos and go-go dancers.
According to Galliano, the sartorial nostalgia trip was inspired by a look through the 1960s archive of American Vogue. The designer noted, “It was a time of optimism and bright colors. It seemed to me what is needed right now.”
If you ask us, any place where Monica Cruz is in attendance is sufficiently bright, thanks very much.
Other shiny, happy people in attendance included Marisa Berenson, Agnes Boulard, Clotilde Courau, Marina Hands and Lucy Liu.

Hollywood babe Penelope Cruz has revealed she’s “looking forward” to getting older - because she thinks it’ll make her a better actress.
The 33-year-old ‘Vanilla Sky’ sky star - who stars as a student who embarks on an affair with a 64-year-old professor in her new film ‘Elegy’, is not worried about losing her looks and thinks age will make her a better actress.
She said: “I’m really looking forward to being older. I want to experience things - I’m even looking forward to having backaches and using that in my work!”
Penelope also dismissed reports she isn’t considered a serious actress because of her sexy looks.
She said: “I’ve had plenty of offers for roles that have nothing to do with any of that. I think you also have to be pretty egocentric to think that you have that problem. I don’t engage in that debate because I am allergic to it.”
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed Penelope - who is believed to be dating actor Javier Bardem - will be starring in a raunchy lesbian sex scene with Scarlett Johansson in Woody Allen’s new film, ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’.
A film insider said: “It’s an extremely erotic scene. People will be blown away and even shocked. Penelope and Scarlett go at it in a red-tinted
photography dark room, and it will leave the audience gasping.”

What did it take to get ex-flames Matthew McConaughey and Penelope Cruz back together? A good cause! The former lovers are just a few of the stars who decorated items for the Ugg Australia Art & Sole celebrity auction that benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Eager bidders can get their hands on the hot boots and purses that stars like Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, Ashton Kutcher, Eva Longoria, Ellen Degeneres, Miley Cyrus, Sharon Stone and The Hills’ Audrina Patridge personally designed by joining the bidding war at the Ugg Web site. The coolest part is checking out what the celebs adorned their shoes with, because the decorations are like a window into their sole.
Matthew’s style sports his signature catch phrase, “Just keep living,” and Ashlee opted for a tranquil deserted island theme, begging the question: What is she trying to escape from? And apparently Ashlee’s big sis and Kelly Ripa have a lot more in common than blond hair and bubbly personalities. Both ladies went for butterflies, but while Jessica’s resemble the ones a fourth grader might draw, Kelly’s are so detailed, she could illustrate children’s books!
The auction closes on December 14, so bid early, bid often and bid big! It’s for a great cause. And make sure to check out PageSix.com once the auction ends to find out whose shoes went for the most money!

PENELOPE Cruz has a new man, but she’s being very coy about the relationship. Cruz showed up at the New York Film Festival this weekend with Javier Bardem, and the two were “very touchy-feely,” our spy said. “They held hands when they thought no one was watching, and she kissed his cheek, and he put his arm around her.” Saturday night, they showed up with Bono to the premiere party for “No Country for Old Men” at Gabriel’s, sat in the back room and left together. Bardem’s rep declined to comment. Cruz’s rep didn’t pick up the phone.

L’Oréal has been condemned for producing “misleading” mascara ads featuring Penelope Cruz.
The TV and magazine ads boasted that women could have up to 60 percent longer eyelashes with its Telescopic mascara.
The Hollywood star’s voice promised: “Lashes that could reach for the stars.”
But a sharp-eyed viewer suspected the actress was wearing false lashes to exaggerate the length of eyelid hair produced by the product.

She protested to the Advertising Standards Authority, who upheld her complaint.
It found the TV commercial misleading and said the magazine advert failed to be accurate and true. During the investigation, the French company admitted that the star had been wearing individual false lashes.
The ASA has ordered L’Oréal to add a disclaimer to future adverts whenever models are shown wearing false lashes.
It also told the firm to make it clear that its “60 percent” claim referred to the appearance of the lashes - not to an actual extension in the length that could be achieved by using the mascara.
L’Oréal told the ASA its product made the tips of lashes more visible, giving a lengthening effect.
It said: “Penelope Cruz was wearing a few individual false lashes inserted into her natural lashes to fill in the gaps in her natural lashes for a consistent standard of lashes.”
A signed affidavit from the star and her make-up artist supported this.
The Telescopic mascara was applied on top.

In its ruling, the ASA said it was concerned that the adverts failed to make it clear that lashes would “appear” up to 60 percent longer.
It added: “We concluded that, in the absence of a disclaimer stating that Penelope Cruz was wearing some individual false lashes added to her natural lashes, and because the ad did not make clear that the claim referred to an increase in the ‘appearance’ of lash length, the ads could mislead.”

Penelope Cruz received a special treat when she checked out Prince’s intimate Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel concert on Saturday - the pop star performed one song just for her.
When Prince spotted the Spanish actress in a booth near the Blossom Room stage, he joined her and her party and played a new song sitting right next to her.
Guests also claim Prince agreed to perform an encore of Nothing Compares 2 U at the Volver star’s request.
One bystander says, “Penelope was in heaven. She sang along, eyes closed.”
Cruz wasn’t the only celebrity who checked out the Prince show - the first of a summer residency at the Roosevelt; Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Hilary Swank, rap couple Nas and Kelis and actor Topher Grace were spotted among the crowd.

She’s since been postponing her shoots for European fashion line Mango to follow Kravitz, her longtime musician friend, on his tour, our sources said. Pen and Len aren’t the only ones catching spring fever - Hartnett has recently been spotted at New York hot spots with Helena Christensen. Bad boy Josh Hartnett snuck away with his new gal, Penelope Cruz, for a spring fling vacation. The two were spotted canoodling at the Parrot Cay private island resort in the Caribbean’s Turks and Caicos last week.
