Does John Mayer swing both ways?
Yes, says celeb blogger Perez Hilton, who hit the airwaves Thursday morning to detail an alleged recent make-out he had with the singer (one of Us’ Cads of the Year).
“He is definitely bi,” Hilton declared on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show, adding that Mayer is “struggling with his sexuality.”
Of their liplock at NYC club Stereo last year, Hilton said, “He kissed me, and I kissed him back. It was on the mouth with tongue.
“I thought he was messing with me,” Hilton went on. “Then he kept going and going.”
Hilton claims Jessica Simpson — Mayer’s girlfriend at the time — didn’t mind.
“While John Mayer and I are making out, she is rubbing his crotch,” Hilton recalled.
Mayer’s rep tells Usmagazine.com, “This is all so ridiculous.” Simpson’s rep had no comment.
Hilton insisted, “It’s 100% true.”

Celeb blogger Perez Hilton came face-to-face with his longtime foe, stylist Rachel Zoe, last night at Hollywood hot spot Hyde.
And surprise — no cat claws came out!
“[Nicole Richie’s former stylist] Rachel Zoe and I did chat,” Hilton (who often refers to Zoe as “Raisinface” on his Web site) tells Usmagazine.com. “It was very civil.”
“Raisinface insists that her new look is just the result of taking better care of her skin, seeing a great dermatologist and not laying out as much in the sun,” he says, adding sarcastically, “Uh huh!”
Don’t expect their cordial run-in to stop Hilton - who rejoiced after being named one of Us’ Worst Dressed of the Year - from ripping on her in the future.
“No matter how smooth her skin gets in real life, she’ll always be Raisinface on my Web site, and I will continue to skewer her!” he says. “Marc Jacobs and I are dear friends, but do not expect the same with Rachel Zoe. I’ll just laugh and observe [her] from afar.”

Last year, when gossip blogger Perez Hilton came to South by Southwest, he was just a spectator.
This year, he arrived as one of the music industry’s key playmakers - and his newfound power was on full display as he played host to one of the festival’s more coveted parties.
“Thank you Perez!” Robyn, the Swedish-born pop star who is releasing an album in the United States this summer, gushed on stage Saturday night as she performed in front of a packed crowd filled with industry insiders, artists, and the typical hangers-on. Even more people lined the block around the venue in downtown Austin, hoping for a chance to see acts ranging from Internet darling Katy Perry to established artists such as Robyn and N.E.R.D.
“There’s a lot of great acts performing these past couple of days, but not all on the same stage on the same night,” boasted Hilton, sporting bleached blond hair with streaks of pink, in an interview with The Associated Press on Friday. “The musicians performing speak for the evening.”
They also speak to Hilton’s ever-increasing clout within the music industry. While his site routinely posts salacious details about perennial gossip targets like Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and the crew from “The Hills,” he also regularly gushes about his favorite artists and songs - like Robyn.
Numerous articles have been written crediting Hilton (real name Mario Lavandeira) for helping to boost an artist’s sales and profile from his postings: The New York Times reported last month that Warner Bros. Records was in negotiations to give Hilton a development deal that would make him an executive on the label.
“It’s very flattering,” Hilton said with a smile about all the attention.
So, not surprisingly, Hilton lined up a few key artists to perform at his party. The biggest act was undoubtedly N.E.R.D., the trio led by superproducer Pharrell Williams, who said Hilton’s site is a key outlet for groups such as his.
“He’s connected to the kids, he’s connected to our demographic - people who want to be in the know, and he’s opinionated and that’s what makes it work,” Williams said after spending a few minutes chatting with Hilton a celebrity lounge Friday.
Hilton’s ability to create buzz for an artist is hard to duplicate, Perry said.
“Managers in the industry want their acts to be featured on his blog because it does give a lot of press, and hopefully good press sometimes,” she said with a laugh. “He’s got some pretty good ears. He’s featured myself and some friends of mine so we’re grateful.”
Not everyone is happy about Hilton’s success. As popular as his showcase may have been, there were some at SXSW who grumbled about the fact that a gossip maven has decision-making power in the industry.
But Hilton insists he and his site have musical integrity.
“I only post things on there that I really enjoy and love and support - there’s no payola Perez,” Hilton said. “So I think readers who read my site know there’s an authenticity there and they really respond to that.”
Hilton said even though he gets managers and record label executives begging him to promote their artists, he gets most of his tips from fans who send him music links online, and he insisted he isn’t swayed by pushes by industry insiders.
Hilton may be giving his own advice to artists soon, if the Warner Bros. deal works out. And while he’s known for his scoops, he’s still peeved at the Times for revealing the tidbit.
“I’m such a fatalist I don’t like making announcements like that unless it’s done. Hopefully it’s going to happen - we’ve been talking for a while now,” he said.
Not that Hilton’s depending on that label or any other to secure his place in the music industry.
“If it doesn’t happen, I’ll just do it on my own,” he said, ever the entrepreneur.

MARIO Lavandeira - better known as online gossip “Perez Hilton” - encouraged a handsome young blogger to send sex tapes of himself while he was making promises of promotion for the blogger’s own fledgling Web site.
Jonathan Jaxson - a former publicist and founder of gossip site JJ’s Dirt - told Page Six he sent Lavandeira sexually explicit videos of himself with the hope of Lavandeira’s help, which never materialized.
“He would tell me he would give me stories for my blog,” Jaxson, 24, said of Lavandeira, 29. “He used me.”
We’ve obtained pages of lengthy AOL Instant-Messenger chats between Jaxson and “Perez Hilton,” who has risen to fame with his Web site, where he doodles on photos of celebrities accompanied by scathing insults.
The New York Times ran a gushing puff piece on “Perez” Tuesday, reporting he gets 2.8 million visitors a month and is in talks with Warner Music for his own label because he has such a great ear for new music.
In an exchange from Sept. 1, 2007, Lavandeira told Jaxson, “you should totally make a sex tape . . . (but not with me).” Jaxson wrote back, “I will have to make one on here for you tomorrow and e-mail it to you.” Lavandeira responded, “Hot! Do it now!”
The next afternoon, Lavandeira asked Jaxson, “When are you sending me that video you promised?” Jaxson responded, “If you do a phone blog with me for my blog . . . as if I am cold calling you in attempt to get advice for my blog. You can be totally rude. I don’t want others to know we talk.”
The next day, Lavandeira asked again, “Where is that video?”
Jaxson told Page Six he sent Lavandeira videos of himself masturbating and other forms of “sex videos,” but said he only met Lavandeira in person three times - once in Florida and twice in New York.
“I fell in love with Perez. I thought he had a huge heart . . . but he’s just a [bleep]hole,” Jaxson told us. “We started working together and communicating on how to make my blog bigger. Then it got more personal and intimate.”
Lavendeira had no comment.

Lindsay Lohan pal Samantha Ronson blind-sided two popular gossip blogs with a $20 million libel suit late last week.
Ronson, herself a budding celebrity deejay, is striking back at suggestions that cocaine found in Lohan’s car after an infamous fender-bender was actually hers.
Named as defendants were Jill Ishkanian, who runs the Sunset Photo and News Agency, and Mario Lavandeira, who blogs as Perez Hilton.
In June, Hilton repeated the cocaine claim that first appeared on CelebrityBabylon.com, a Web site operated by Sunset Photo.
That site claimed Ronson was “making a tidy profit on the side, shilling Lohan, 20, out to photographers eager to get her photo looking passed out and wasted.”
It continued: “If that wasn’t shocking enough, sources say that it was Ronson who was holding the cocaine later found in Lindsay’s car.”
Although the suit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday, Ishkanian said she was not aware of it when contacted by the Daily News. “This is the first I’m hearing about it,” she said yesterday. “I have no comment.”
Perez Hilton could not immediately be contacted.
