Carey Hart and Pink may have split, but that doesn’t mean they’re not still close.

“We talk all the time and try to stay connected as much as possible,” Hart told PEOPLE at the opening of his new Las Vegas club, Wasted Space, in the Hard Rock Hotel. “It’s a tough situation to be in but I love her to death.”

And though they are not longer a couple, Hart confesses he still misses his ex. “I miss everything about her,” he says. And in the wake of their split, “I became a workaholic,” says the motocross star. “I work 19 hours a day.”

Carey, who married Pink in 2006 and split in February, isn’t ready to move on.

Says Hart: “I’m not in any rush to get back into a relationship.”

“ENTOURAGE” star Jeremy Piven and Hollywood punk Pink were spotted at Green Door in LA Tuesday night getting hot and heavy on the dance floor. Piven hit the club after leaving a party for Victoria’s Secret fragrance Heavenly Kiss at Beso. Pink split from her husband, Motocross racer Carey Hart, in February. “Pink and Jer emy were all over each other and dancing really close,” said a witness. A rep for Pink con firmed she was at the Green Door, but said, “She was not with Jeremy Piven, dancing or otherwise.” Piven’s rep said, “He was there but didn’t hang out with Pink. Jeremy says she is a friend, a good woman.”

PINK has agreed to pay an artist for appropriating his work without permission for a music video. Last year, Page Six reported that Vladimir Kush was suing Pink for featuring his painting “Contes Erotiques” in the video for her “U + Ur Hand.” Kush told us yesterday: “I’m an artist and do not enjoy the litigation process, but if someone is wrongfully taking from my creations, I must defend my art.”

He may be in the middle of a divorce, but Carey Hart has nothing but good things to say about estranged wife Pink.

“Above and beyond everything, we are the best of friends and she is the love of my life,” he told PEOPLE in Las Vegas Monday night, breaking his silence about their separation (announced last month). “We talk all the time.”

The freestyle motocross star, speaking at the grand opening of Ago restaurant inside the Hard Rock Hotel, declined to comment further. Instead, the 32-year-old spent the remainder of the evening chatting with a small group of male friends inside he eatery, sipping red wine and taking a few pictures.

The hotel has become something of a safe haven for Hart, a Las Vegas native. This summer, he’s slated to open a new bar, Wasted Space, inside the complex.

“It’s about rock and roll decadence,” he said. “It’s everything a rock and roll bar should be – dark, gritty, comfortable with plenty of booze and a lot of loud, rocking-out music.”

Hart met Pink at the 2001 X Games. They split for a time in 2003, but tied the knot with a non-denominational ceremony in Costa Rica in January 2006.

The singer, 28, has also been quick to defend her ex, calling him a “good man.” She also insisted that their breakup is “not about cheating, anger or fighting.”

The two year old marriage between rock star Pink and motor cross star Carey Hart is coming to an end.  Rumorsd have been out there for sometime about a possible split and after a picture of Hart and a sexy brunette surfaced this week a statement was made about their separation.

 ”The decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another,” Schweitzer told People magazine. “While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger.”

Pop star PINK almost sliced off her wedding finger while preparing a meal for husband CAREY HART. The Stupid Girls hitmaker was cooking honey-glazed salmon for her motorcross champion husband when the knife slipped over her finger. The singer was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment. She says, “I’m a terrible cook. I nearly lost my finger and needed a load of stitches.”

AN avant-garde Manhattan painter is suing Pink for copyright infringement, saying the pop cutie used one of his works in a 2006 music video. In his case filed in Manhattan District Court, Vladimir Kush charges Pink and her record company, Zomba, with reproducing images from his painting “Countes Erotiques” throughout her video for “U + Ur Hand” without permission. It isn’t the only problem Pink is having lately - reports have surfaced that she and hubby Carey Hart are on the rocks, and he was spotted canoodling with another woman. A rep for Pink didn’t return our call.

Don’t expect Pink to team up with Britney Spears.

The “Stupid Girls” punk rocker says she’d never write a song for Spears — even though she has nothing personal against the Toxic singer — she just thinks that Spears is not enough of a “real singer.”

“(It’s) not because I don’t like (Spears) — I do think she’s crazy enough to do one of my songs,” Pink said, reports WENN. “But it’s very hard for me to let go of my songs and the only people I write for are real singers — not that she’s not a real singer, but she’s more of an entertainer.”

Pink says Spears doesn’t have enough attitude. “When I mean real singers, I mean the likes of Lauryn Hill, Faith Hill,” she explained. “And I’d write for Amy Winehouse, because you need serious attitude to carry off the dumb stuff I write about.”

Pop star Pink has paid tribute to her late pet Elvis with a new tattoo.

The Trouble singer was devastated when the bulldog drowned in her pool last month, and she’s had him memorialized on her left arm.

According to American magazine Life & Style, part of Pink’s tattoo reads, “A time to weep. A time to mourn. Sleep in peace.”

Animal lover Pink is on the attack again - she has launched a global boycott of Australian wool.

The rock star has signed on to host a new People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta) video exposing lamb mutilations and sheep cruelty.

The outspoken singer says, “I am calling on consumers to check labels on sweaters before buying them, and if they’re merino wool or made in Australia, to leave them on the racks.”

At a news conference held just before her concert at the Paris Bercy arena in France yesterday, Pink premiered her new video expose of Australian wool cruelty.

In the disturbing four-minute video, which is being launched on the internet, Pink shows viewers the suffering that merino sheep endure in the Australian wool industry.

She agreed to front the film after learning that millions of lambs are mutilated each year by having chunks of skin carved from their backsides-without any pain relief, in a practice known as “mulesing”.
