SHERYL CROW’S DESIGNER DREAMS BECOME REALITY

Source: www.celebritymound.com

Rocker SHERYL CROW was inspired to design her own fashion line so her friends could buy affordable clothing.

The All I Wanna Do singer launched her new denim-based budget collection, Bootheel Trading Co. By Sheryl Crow, last week.
And Crow didn’t have to go far to gain inspiration for her line - she simply looked to her own wardrobe.

She tells People.com, “I have an incredible amount of vintage that I’ve collected over the years.

“My style is very Americana. I gravitate to pieces that are American by nature, either western or Depression-era.

She adds, “I do almost everything in jeans, except sleep. Denim has become so high-priced as of late. My friends back home don’t want to spend $250 for a pair of jeans. I want them to be able to walk into a medium-priced store and be able to afford a cool pair of jeans for less than 100 bucks.”

Sheryl Crow to Join Fleetwood Mac

Source: www.celebritymound.com

Move over, Stevie: Sheryl Crow is planning to join Fleetwood Mac.

“We definitely have plans for collaborating in the future, and we’ll see what happens,” Crow tells Spinner. As to when fans might hear those collaborations, she says, “I think that’s going to be next year.”

And what songs would she ideally like to perform onstage with Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham? “I’d love to do ‘The Chain’ and ‘Second Hand News,’” she says. “There’s so many great songs that I absolutely love, and just to get to sing harmonies on them is going to be a thrill.”

For Crow, who is just beginning to tour in support of her recently released ‘Detours’ album, the opportunity to join the legendary group (and fill the shoes of Christine McVie, who retired from touring in 1998), is a chance to work with her close friend Nicks. Perhaps more important, it will help keep the band alive, as Nicks had previously gone on record as saying she was unwilling to carry on Fleetwood Mac without McVie, who had been one of the constants of the often-evolving group since she joined in the early ’70s.

According to Crow, Nicks has been a major influence in her life as an artist. “I love people that are not jaded or de-sensitized and that are still really into what they’re doing and into growing as an artist, and that’s her,” Crow says. “She’d walk out and stand at the microphone, and I swear I was looking at a 20-year-old, because she just exudes this kind of sensual love for music.”

Sheryl Crow Doesn’t Wipe Well

Source: www.celebritymound.com

Sheryl Crow should eat crow. The save-the-environment rocker who’s on a “Stop Global Warming College Tour” with Laurie David and just proposed a limit on toilet paper usage is a big gas-guzzler. Her performance rider demands for each show include three tractor trailers, four buses and six cars for her entourage, TheSmokingGun.com reports. She also insists on 12 bottles of Grolsch beer, six bottles of “local” beer and a bottle each of “good Australian Cabernet” and “good Merlot.” Crow’s flack said the rider was “an old one from 10 years ago” but declined to show us a current one.

This is the excerpt from her own website explaining how much toilet paper each of us should use (or rather not use!):

Although my ideas are in the earliest stages of development, they are, in my mind, worth investigating. One of my favorites is in the area of forest conservation which we heavily rely on for oxygen. I propose a limitation be put on how many squares of toilet paper can be used in any one sitting. Now, I don’t want to rob any law-abiding American of his or her God-given rights, but I think we are an industrious enough people that we can make it work with only one square per restroom visit, except, of course, on those pesky occasions where 2 to 3 could be required. When presenting this idea to my younger brother, whose judgment I trust implicitly, he proposed taking it one step further. I believe his quote was, “how bout just washing the one square out.”

I’m sorry Sheryl, but you obviously haven’t seen my ass - one square just ain’t enough, honey!

Sheryl Crow Fights Global Warming With a Dirty Ass

Source: www.infamousceleb.com

sheryl-crow-toilet-paper.jpg

Sheryl Crow is currently on a college tour to support global warming. She is speaking out on some ideas she has to help out the world. One of those amazing ideas is that she feels Americans use too much toilet paper when wiping there ass. She thinks that we should limit the number of toilet paper we use down to one square per squat, so we can save more trees. However she did say there may be the odd time that we are allowed to use 2 - 3 squares for those nasty times after some mexican food.

“I have spent the better part of this tour trying to come up with easy ways for us all to become a part of the solution to global warming. Although my ideas are in the earliest stages of development, they are, in my mind, worth investigating. One of my favorites is in the area of conserving trees which we heavily rely on for oxygen. I propose a limitation be put on how many squares of toilet paper can be used in any one sitting. Now, I don’t want to rob any law-abiding American of his or her God-given rights, but I think we are an industrious enough people that we can make it work with only one square per restroom visit, except, of course, on those pesky occasions where 2 to 3 could be required.”

I don’t know about you guys but after a night of drinking no-name draft beer at the local shit-hole pub, produces some messy hang-over morning dumps!

After two or three of these re-occurring episodes of sharp painful intestinal cramps accompanied by grunts and moans that your girlfriend can her over the barely working bathroom fan all before the clock even strikes noon; calls for more than a few squares just to clean up the blood, never mind the splattered shit all over the place.

But I agree, on any given normal day,
we could probably tone it down a bit.
