Public records show the musician has just paid $26.5 million for a 16th-floor apartment at 15 CPW in his given name, Gordon Sumner, reports The Post’s Braden Keil. He and wife Trudie Styler al ready own a place at 88 CPW that had been for sale at $24 million but that was taken off the market after their bro ker, Linda Stein, was mur dered. The pop rocker has ex pressed his reluctance to leave the 18-room duplex co-op that he bought from Billy Joel in the 1980s. “I’m not sure I’m ready to sell,” he previously told The Post. “I’ve had a lot of inspiration here.”

Not content with sharing their intimate tantric sex secrets with the world, ageing rock star Sting and Trudie Styler, 53, decided it was time for a more physical demonstration.

As the couple lazed around on the deck of their yacht in Sydney Harbour, the 56-year-old singer began to lovingly massage - and then lick - his wife’s feet.

Trudie, who was lounging full-length on a seat, seemed unperturbed by his display and barely raised her eyes from her book.

However, their antics did not go down with onlookers.

One witness said: “He really put his back into it - you could see his tongue and everything - and Trudie was lapping up the attention.”

The couple are spending New Year aboard the luxurious Phoenix I yacht - which costs £5,500 a day to hire.

Rumours about the exotic private life of Sting and Trudie Styler have included swingers’ parties, strip clubs and tantric sex sessions lasting several hours.

Now some more tangible evidence of their colourful tastes has emerged.

The 56-year-old rock star and his wife have flung wide the doors of their £12million Manhattan apartment for an “at home” newspaper feature - with eyebrow-raising results.

Elsewhere in the apartment are rather more homely points of reference - cow paintings by daughter Mickey, family photos scattered in silver frames, a giant wall of Polaroids in the kitchen and Sting’s lute resting on a sofa.

The musician has six children, namely Joseph, 31, and Fuchsia Katherine, 25, from his first marriage to actress Frances Tomelty, and Mickey, 23, Jake, 22, Coco, 17, and Giacomo, who was 12 this week, from his marriage to Trudie.

He also has homes in Mayfair and Malibu, and estates in Wiltshire and Tuscany.

The couple put the Manhattan property, which they have owned for 20 years - on the market last year, but have now taken it off, despite buying a further £15million home in a separate development in the city.

STING unwound after his reunion gig with the Police at the Garden in the wee hours of yesterday morning with entertainment by the ecdysiasts at Scores East. The singer and two male buddies arrived at the mammary mecca after midnight and were quickly sequestered in the Champagne Lounge with six private dancers dressed festively in sexy little Halloween costumes. The group then moved to a private room to keep the party going.

Without his wife and family, a long way from home and in the dead of night, no one can blame Sting for feeling in need of a little company.

But Trudie Styler and their children might feel less inclined to be understanding when they learn where he ended up in Hamburg in the early hours of Wednesday.

The father of six was spotted leaving one of Germany’s most notorious brothels after a concert during the Police’s reunion tour.

He was pictured apparently trying to duck down in the back seat of a car.

Straight after performing at the HSVArena in Hamburg, the 55-year- old singer jumped into a silver SUV flanked by two bodyguards and headed into town.

As it turned out he clearly had relaxation on his mind. The Relax bordello prides itself on being one of the city’s most luxurious.

Advertising itself more innocently as a strip club, promotional literature describes how it is “frequented by more than 40 top models every night”.

What is not advertised so freely is that most of the models rent themselves out by the hour.

They usually accompany clients to the swimming pool, whirlpool bath and sauna inside. Brothels are legal in Germany and Relax is well known.

“What did Sting do in Hamburg’s top bordello?” screamed the headline of Germany’s bestselling Bild newspaper.

The report was accompanied by a picture of the singer being driven away from Relax at 2.15am.

“What he did inside is unclear,” the report continued.

“At the bar each night sit up to 40 ladies, fulfilling the wishes of the guests.”

The report speculated whether Sting delighted the ladies with a rendition of Roxanne - a Police hit song about a prostitute. Inside Relax, guests are encouraged to spend, spend, spend.

Magnums of Dom Perignon can be served in the whirlpool or “steamy sauna” or indeed poured over the breasts of young models (if pictures on the club’s website are anything to go by).

“Discretion billing’ is also catered for, presumably so that wives remain none the wiser.

A spokesman for the club said she knew a photo of Sting was taken in the car park in his minibus - but denied he had been inside.

She was unable to say why he was pictured in the Relax car park at 2.15 am, adding: “No, no, he wasn’t here.”

Asked about Sting’s night out in Hamburg, his publicist said: “Sting and his wife Trudie Styler have always been open about their interest in strip clubs.

“I do not know whether he went to this club. However I would not be surprised if he went. It is nothing he would be ashamed of.”

In an interview in 2004 Miss Styler claimed the couple had indulged in wife- swopping, swinging and visiting sex clubs.

She told U.S. radio host Howard Stern that said she would watch as her husband met other women.

“I don’t get jealous. He likes to go to these clubs where they all get naked,” she said.

“I just sort of hang out and talk to them, and polish my nails.”

The interview quickly made headlines around the world.

Within days Miss Styler gave another interview as an apparent retraction, saying the comments had all been a joke.

An employment tribunal ordered Sting and his wife, Trudie Styler, on Tuesday to pay a former chef $51,000 in compensation after she won a sexual-discrimination claim against them.

Jane Martin, 41, won her claim in May. She said she was fired after she became pregnant.

At a hearing earlier this year, Martin said she had worked for the 55-year-old pop star and his wife for eight years, cooking meals for them and guests including Madonna and Elton John.

She said Styler grew unhappy with her after she became pregnant in 2005, making her work long hours and growing angry when she took time off work because of illness.

Martin, who accused Styler of having a “grandiose ego,” left her job under disputed circumstances in April 2006.

The panel at an employment tribunal in Southampton, southern England, said in its May ruling that Martin had been unlawfully dismissed by Lake House Estate, Sting and Styler’s management company, and was a victim of sexual discrimination.

Sting and Styler said they had already launched an appeal.
