Jennie Garth ‘bummed’ that Tori Spelling won’t appear on ‘90210′

Source: www.celebritymound.com

For those Beverly Hills, 90210 fans out there who were crushed by recent online reports that Tori Spelling will not be appearing on The CW’s new 90210 reboot this fall, take heart — Jennie Garth feels your pain. The star, who will reprise her role as Kelly Taylor on 90210 this fall, tells EW.com that she was disappointed by online reports that Spelling dropped out of The CW series after not being offered the same amount of money as Garth and fellow former co-star Shannen Doherty. “[The press thinks] we’re at war over salary with Tori. I didn’t know I was at war with Tori,” Garth told EW.com. “I’m really bummed because I love Tori and I was psyched Tori was going to be on the show. I think she should definitely get paid as much as either of us is getting paid. Her father created the show. It just seems wrong if that’s the case. I don’t know what really happened because I haven’t talked to her. I would like to talk to her.” Doherty adds that she isn’t taking the deadlinehollywooddaily.com report about Spelling’s salary dispute — which claimed Garth and Doherty were being paid “$35,000-$50,000” per episode versus Spelling’s proposed salary of “$10,000-$20,000” per episode — at face value. “They didn’t even get the numbers right,” says the actress, who will reprise her role as Brenda Walsh on The CW’s drama, “so I don’t know if it’s about the money either.” Whatever the case, Garth hopes the door isn’t closed on Donna Martin’s return: “I’ll try to butt my head in whenever I can and tell people what I think about it.” When asked for a comment about Spelling’s discussions with the network, a CW spokesman said simply, “The CW has no deal with Tori Spelling to appear on 90210 at this time.”

Meet Stella Doreen McDermott !

Source: www.celebritymound.com

Almost one year to the day their son Liam was born, Tori Spelling and hubby Dean McDermott got the surprise of their lives when they discovered they were expecting baby number two!

Even more exciting–the couple found out they were having a little girl, something that Tori says she thought she would never experience. Now the couple is talking only to OK! with an exclusive interview about their joyful journey.

“She’s a miracle,” Spelling tells OK!. “I was on one pill and wasn’t feeling well, so I went off of it. Two days later, the doctor put me on another, and on that one day, we conceived. It was meant to be!”

As OK! exclusively reported, the couple welcomed daughter Stella Doreen into the world on June 9. The infant weighed in at a dainty 6 lbs. 11 oz. and had a full head of beautiful black hair.

“My first thought was, ‘My god, she’s so beautiful,’” Tori gushes. “My second thought was, ‘Oh my god, she has black hair! Where did that come from?’ [laughs] Liam has blonde hair and is very fair. She was born with black hair, very tan.”

Tori continues, “I never thought I’d have a daughter. Dean’s first child [Jack] is a boy and then we had Liam and I thought, ‘Because I’m so girly-girly, I’ll have all boys.’ ”

Dean agrees, adding, “When I saw Stella for the first time, I just bawled my face off out of pure joy. I’ve always heard that there’s nothing like that bond between father and daughter. There is nothing like it — you feel it that moment. It hit me like a ton of bricks. Little boys are awesome. They’re just like a little you. But having a little girl is something else. As a man, you just lose it.”

Tori Spelling Mourns Beloved Pug Mimi LaRue

Source: www.celebritymound.com

Tori Spelling’s beloved dog Mimi LaRue died Tuesday of natural causes at the age of 11, the actress tells PEOPLE.

“She was a star and a true lady, and she will be missed greatly,” says Spelling. “People everywhere knew her by name. I loved when fans wanted her over me. I felt proud!”

Mimi LaRue died at home surrounded by her family, including Spelling’s husband Dean McDermott, 41, son Liam, 1, and newborn daughter Stella, 10 days old. “I’m devastated,” said Spelling, who reveals her dog had suffered from medical problems relating to her hips and neck for years. “I’m convinced she waited around to make sure I had the daughter I always dreamt about before she left us.”

Mimi LaRue was a frequent sight in her trademark pink dresses, both on the red carpet as well as on Spelling’s reality shows, So noTORIous, Tori & Dean: Inn Love, and the new season of Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood.

“She was not just a dog but a fashion icon and legend amongst Hollywood dogs,” Spelling says. “She received fan e-mail on a regular basis, and I often joked she got sent more designer clothes than me!”

Aside from being fashionably hip, Mimi LaRue was a true member of the family, rarely giving up a chance for a fine meal or simply relaxing in Spelling’s lap. “She was a loving pet and a true diva to the end,” says Spelling.

Tori Spelling Returning to 90210 ??

Source: www.celebritymound.com

Looks like Jennie Garth isn’t the only Beverly Hills, 90210 alum returning to her old zip code.

Tori Spelling – who played Donna Martin – has been tapped to co-star in the new spin-off version of the ’90s hit teen drama, a source confirms to Usmagazine.com.

“She will be a recurring character,” the source adds.

DeadlineHollywoodDaily.com first reported the news.

“I am excited about it,” Spelling told Us in April when asked about the new version.

“In some way, every show that followed 90210 was a remake of 90210,” she added. “For the fans’ sake, I am really happy for them.”

Spelling’s father Aaron created and produced the original series.

Former Full House star Lori Loughlin has also signed on and The CW has also hinted that other original 90210 stars could be reprising their roles.

Tori Spelling relishes role as gay icon

Source: www.celebritymound.com

Even in Hollywood where celebrity bashing is a standard practice, Tori Spelling has endured more than her share of mockery. But among one set of fans, the former “Beverly Hills 90210″ star is adored.

Gay men, it seems, can’t get enough of Tori Spelling, and she hopes to make them happy in romantic comedy “Kiss the Bride,” her new movie debuting on Friday in major U.S. cities.

“I’m a huge fan of gays,” Spelling told Reuters. “They love me; I love them. They consider me kind of a gay icon, which they’ve labeled me as.”

Spelling began acting as a child on shows such as “The Love Boat” and “Fantasy Island,” which were produced by her famous father Aaron Spelling. But it was in the role of kindhearted teen Donna Martin on “90210″ that Spelling gained her own measure of fame and earned a fan base.

For years, popular wisdom had it that the only reason she was hired for “90210″ was because her dad’s company was behind the show, but she has proven adept not only at acting but also writing a book and being a mom.

In other words, Tori Spelling is no daddy’s girl. But she is beloved by many gay men, and the gay theme “was probably one of the top things that made me want to do the movie,” she said about “Kiss the Bride.”

Spelling plays the fiancee of a boy named Ryan, who had a homosexual fling with a friend in high school. When the friend, Matt, learns Spelling’s character Alex is set to marry his long-ago lover, he turns up to convince Ryan he is making a mistake by marrying a woman.

The actress said the response she got from doing 1999’s gay-themed “Trick” was so overwhelming that she considered it “kind of a coup” to be able to make another gay-themed movie.

Spelling also has found other ways to embrace her gay fans — including being an advocate for same-sex unions.

Last year, she became an ordained minister after two male fans asked her to officiate at the wedding they held at the Fallbrook, California, bed and breakfast she ran with her husband, actor Dean McDermott.

“They said ‘We have this idea. We want you to perform the ceremony … we’re huge fans, it would be so cool if Tori Spelling married us,’” Spelling said. “I haven’t done any since … but I’m open. I’m free, my schedule is wide open.”

Spelling was joking about having lots of free time.

Currently, she is filming the third season of her reality TV show, the Oxygen network’s “Tori & Dean: Inn Love,” and promoting a line of jewelry on the HSN shopping network. To top it all off, she is expecting her second child in June.

But as busy as she gets, she seems grateful for everything that comes her way. “I’m not happy not doing anything,” Spelling said, adding that she acquired a strong work ethic from her father, who died in 2006. “When positive things are rolling in, you’ve got to take them when you can get them.”

Good news has been rolling in this year for Spelling. Her memoir, “Tori Telling,” has spent four weeks on the New York Times bestseller list. She wanted the book to break down the image she says people have always had of her: that of a “spoiled rich girl” riding her father’s coattails, she said.

“I love hearing people say things like ‘I came into reading this book really hating Tori Spelling, and now I have a whole new respect for her,’” Spelling said.

“As backhanded as that sounds … my whole life story is kind of a backhanded compliment,” she said.

Do We Really Need To See Pregnant Tori Spelling in a Bikini ???

Source: www.celebritymound.com

Tori Spelling may be eight months pregnant, but she’s not afraid to rock a bikini.

She recently posed for photos while shooting her Oxygen reality show with husband Dean McDermott.

“So far I’ve gained 25 pounds and am loving my body!” Spelling, 34, told photo agency Startraks during the March 20 shoot in Beverly Hills. “I’m eating whatever my body tells me it needs and wants.

“I love my growing belly and the curves I’m taking on,” she added.

Spelling, who is already mother to son Liam, 1, said the second time around is a breeze.

“During my first pregnancy with Liam, I spent a lot of time worried about my weight and how big I was getting and how I would lose it afterwards,” she said. “But once I wasn’t pregnant anymore, I missed it. I loved being pregnant!

“And now I know that it is possible to get back your body with diet and dedication,” she said.

But Spelling — who’s due in early summer — admitted being a pregnant mom and shooting a reality show isn’t easy.

“It’s been a hectic, yet amazing time in my life,” she said.

Tori Spelling: I’d Love To Be in 90210 Remake

Source: www.celebritymound.com

Tori Spelling would like to return to her old zip code.

The actress has yet to be contacted by the producers of the Beverly Hills, 90210 remake the CW is developing, but Spelling, who played Donna Martin on the original show for 10 years, is ready to step up if she gets offered a role.

“My dad always wanted to do a new version of 90210, so I’m sure he will be beaming from above!” Spelling, 34, tells PEOPLE, referring to her father, the show’s producer Aaron Spelling. “And I’d love to somehow be a part of it. That as well would make my dad proud!”

So what kind of role does she envision for herself?

“Well, I am a mom now, proud to say, but obviously too young to have a teenager, so maybe I could be one of the main character’s young step mom,” says Spelling, who is expecting her second child. “Playing the funny sex ed teacher at the high school would be funny, too, considering Donna Martin was America’s most infamous virgin.”

She adds: “The show was a huge part of my life. Ten years! I miss it dearly.”

The actress first heard of the remake while doing interviews for her book, sTori Telling.

“I thought … it’s about time,” says Spelling, who next appears on television on Friday on HSN with her own jewelry line. “I’m surprised it took this long for them to make a 90210 spin-off.”

Tori’s Boobie Double

Source: www.celebritymound.com

TORI Spelling had a tug of war with Bob and Harvey Weinstein - over a pair of stunt boobs. In her new memoir, “sTori Telling,” the blonde actress says when she refused to go topless in “Scary Movie 2,” the studio-mogul brothers, who were then running Miramax, tried to get around it by using a body double. But “no matter how amazing the body double’s boobs were, I knew I’d never hear the end of it,” writes Spelling, adding that her TV-czar dad, Aaron Spelling, warned her, “If I know the Weinsteins, they’ll cut you out of the whole film if you refuse.” When she continued to balk, Miramax not only cut the scene in question, but nearly removed her from the picture entirely. “I’d spent five months improvising a cameo,” she writes. “They’d cut so much of me from the movie that there were places where it didn’t even make sense….. . . I was embarrassed to go to the premiere.”
