GNARLS BARKLEY SICKENS FANS WITH NEW VIDEO

Source: www.celebritymound.com

GNARLS BARKLEY are set to gross out fans with their gory new video for WHO’S GONNA SAVE MY SOUL - because it features a dumped boyfriend literally ripping
his heart out.

The coffeeshop video, which features Gnarls Barkley’s Cee-Lo Green and DangerMouse as cooks, starts as a girl is telling her boyfriend their romance is over.

The emotionless guy then stabs himself with a knife, removes his heart and places it on a plate, stating, “It’s for you… It’s actually yours now, I’m never going to be able to get over you.”

The shocked girlfriend responds, “Maybe I can keep it for a little while… and then, eventually, I’ll give it back to you when we both find someone new.”

But the lovelorn boyfriend insists he’ll never recover from the split, explaining, “I will treat every woman I meet with a passive aggressive contentiousness.”

The heart then develops lips, teeth and a singing voice and staggers through the cafe leaving a trail of blood on food plates and counters, as diners look on in disbelief.

Now Ronaldo blows off The Hills’ Lauren Conrad

Source: www.celebritymound.com

Cristiano Ronaldo humiliated U.S. socialite Lauren Conrad by turning his back on her at a Hollywood nightclub.

Lauren, 22, who stars on MTV’s popular reality TV show The Hills, was devastated when the Manchester United player refused to pose with her for a picture.

The brush-off happened in the early hours of Thursday morning at trendy LA hotspot Kress, sources tell MailOnline exclusively.

A fellow party-goer revealed: ‘Cristiano was in with his friends, enjoying the music and chilling out in the corner of the club.

‘Lauren approached him and asked for a picture of them to be taken. But he just blew her off and refused.

‘Cristiano turned to his friend and said in his heavy Portugese accent: ‘Who is this woman?’

‘Lauren was mortified. She told her friends she couldn’t believe he’d talk to her like that. Worse still, she couldn’t believe he didn’t know who she is.

‘She walked away in a really bad mood.’

It comes just a week after Cristiano, 23, spurned the advances of socialite Paris Hilton.

The Manchester United striker, who is currently single after splitting with one-time love Nereida Gallardo, 25, has been in LA on a business trip for the past fortnight.

And although he wasn’t interested in Conrad or Paris, he has not been short of attention from other eligible females.

MailOnline revealed how last week, Cristiano took a glamorous actress back to his hotel suite after a night out at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

He has also been linked by tabloids to Italian model Letizia Fillippi, though the pair have yet to be photographed together.

Screech Writes ‘Saved by the Bell’ Tell-all

Source: www.celebritymound.com

Sometimes a book deal comes along that you never knew you were waiting for, but, once it’s announced, you realize it has been your secret wish all along. Which explains our reaction to the news that Dustin Diamond, whose high-pitched nerdy exploits as Samuel “Screech” Powers figured prominently in nearly thirteen (!) years of Saved by the Bell incarnations (plus that infamous sex tape), has jumped on the tell-all bandwagon. Behind the Bell, which Gotham Books preempted from Objective Entertainment’s Jarred Weisfeld, promises to detail “sexual escapades among cast members, drug use, and hardcore partying,” and for those of us who spent untold hours in our formative years memorizing “I’m So Excited” and the entire back catalog of Zack Attack, this is the greatest book deal in the history of the universe.

But Diamond, with an assist from veteran ghostwriter Alan Goldsher, will really strike pop-culture gold if he can answer our most burning question: What if Miss Bliss had moved to Bayside with the SBTB gang instead of Principal Belding? The course of television history might have been irrevocably altered.

THE WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW Welcomes Coolio

Source: www.celebritymound.com

Today on ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ with rapper, Coolio, where he addressed everything from his recent arrest to what he gave up to be a better role model for his son.

Filmed in New York and airing weekdays exclusively on FOX owned and operated stations, ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ will be televised in New York on WNYW FOX 5 at 10:00 a.m. (ET) and air in Los Angeles/KTTV FOX 11 at 1:00 p.m. (PT); Dallas/KDFW FOX 4 at 11:00 a.m. (CT); and Detroit/WJBK FOX 2 at 12:00 p.m. (ET).

Here are a few soundbites from today’s show!

Coolio (who stars in an Internet Cooking series called “Cooking With Coolio” on My Damn Channel) on how he became interested in cooking:

Coolio: The reason I started cooking so much…my mother passed away quite some time ago and for a while, I didn’t enjoy food. My mother cooked so well that other people’s food didn’t excite me, so I was eating to live. So I wasn’t really enjoying my food, know what I mean…so I had to go out of my way to really recreate most of my mother’s recipes and I just took out all the cholesterol and vegetable oil.

Coolio on his favorite hip-hop today:

WW: What do you have to say about these new rappers today? Who bumps in your ride?

C: I’m gonna be honest with you, I’m not listening to a whole bunch of hip hop and it’s not because cats can’t rap, it’s because cats can’t rap. (laughs) I like Rick Ross…I love Nas…I like T.I.

WW: Are you close with anybody old school or new school?

C: I like Snoop Dogg, because he’s always the same. I like Treach from Naughty By Nature…we do a lot of shows together…to be honest with you, I don’t have any celebrity friends really.

On why he quit using marijuana a year ago:

C: My son started knowing “the chief” too well, so you know…you got to lead by example. So, I had to let the chief go.

Coolio on his June 2008 arrest:

WW: You were arrested last month.

C: Yeah.

WW: How did that all work out because they said you owe child support? I was shocked. You’re too old to not take care of your kids.

C: Hold on, hold on. My youngest child is 12. I’ve never been behind in my child support. What it was is, you know the D.A. in L.A….they do everything by computer. So, they made some kind of mistake. From 2006…and they never took it out of the computer.

WW: Oh my gosh, so are you suing them for not take care of paperwork?

C: Yeah well, I mean I could sue the D.A. but that’s a whole other can of worms right there. So under advisement of my lawyer, they just told me to let it go.

Jonas Brothers buy house in Dallas-Fort Worth area

Source: www.celebritymound.com

The Jonas Brothers reportedly bought a house in a Dallas-Fort Worth suburb - and some young neighbors sound thrilled.

Tarrant County records obtained by The Dallas Morning News indicate that the three band members granted power of attorney to their mother, Denise Jonas, to buy a $2.8 million, six-bedroom house in Vaquero, a gated community in the suburb of Westlake. The documents were signed June 12.

A real estate agent confirmed the house’s sale but said the contract prevented her from commenting further. A publicist for the band, which began a nationwide tour last month, declined to comment.

“Yeah, I heard they are moving into the area!” 9-year-old Emily Clark said with wide eyes as she jumped out of the pool at Westlake’s Solana Club. They’re coming in three months, she said with an air of certainty.

The exclusive neighborhood already includes major leaguer Mark Teixeira, former star quarterbacks Drew Bledsoe and Terry Bradshaw, not to mention several pro golfers.

Former British Open champion Brian Watts discovered he might have new neighbors when he returned from Japan.

“I didn’t even know who the Jonas Brothers were or what kind of music they played,” Watts said. “But my wife and kids were enthralled.’”

The eldest brother, 20-year-old Kevin, was born in Dallas but grew up in New Jersey with brothers Joe, 18, and Nick, 15. They live in Los Angeles County now.

Omarosa: Wendy Williams is ‘a fake and a phony’

Source: www.celebritymound.com

Omarosa is not sorry for sparring with Wendy Williams. “I stand by everything I said,” Omarosa told The Associated Press on Tuesday.

The reality star - whose full name is Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth - appeared Monday on “The Wendy Williams Show” to promote her upcoming book but instead spent more time trading insults with radio personality-turned-talk show host Wendy Williams, who infamously engaged Whitney Houston during an interview on her radio show in 2003.

“When you’re not honest with the American people, they do not respond well to you,” said Omarosa, who became famous after appearing on the first season of NBC’s “The Apprentice.” “She should just go ask Star Jones about that. Honesty needs to be there. She’s a phony. As long as she continues to be a fake and a phony, she won’t be successful.”

Omarosa told the AP that the show’s promos and introductions for her appearance are what originally ruffled her feathers and prompted her to tell Williams that she would not be disrespected. Things got uglier when Williams grabbed Omarosa’s book cover to hold it up to the camera, and Omarosa yanked it back out of Williams’ hand.

“She snatched it out of my hand,” Omarosa told the AP. “She didn’t say, ‘Can I see it?’”

The tussle gave way to Omarosa attacking Williams’ appearance, asking her whether she had had a nose job and suggesting she shouldn’t wear wigs. During the heated exchange, Williams called Omarosa a “typical angry black woman” and advised Omarosa that cosmetic injections could fix her wrinkles.

Following Omarosa’s appearance, Williams told the AP she thought the unprovoked aggression was a publicity stunt and called Omarosa “a delusional, D-list, pathetic woman.” Williams also said that Omarosa would not be invited back on “The Wendy Williams Show,” which airs on Fox-owned stations in Los Angeles, Detroit, Dallas and New York.

Omarosa was a contestant on the first season of “The Apprentice” starring Donald Trump in 2004. Her domineering personality quickly earned her enemies among fellow contestants and TV viewers. She later appeared on VH1’s “The Surreal Life” and “The Celebrity Apprentice.”

Golden Girl Estelle Getty Dies at 84

Source: www.celebritymound.com

Surrounded by her family and caregivers, actress Estelle Getty — known for her role as the wise-cracking Sophia Petrillo on the Golden Girls — died Tuesday morning at her Los Angeles home.

She was 84.

She was to turn 85 on Friday.

Her longtime caregiver Paul Chapdelaine wrote on her Web site:

“Sadly, today July 22, 2008 at 5:35 a.m. Pacific Time, we said our last good-byes to our little friend Estelle, who passed away and made her journey to the great beyond. Although it was a trip that she never wanted to take, she went gracefully, in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by her family and her very loving care-givers.

“Estelle’s legacy will live on and on through the comedy and laughter she gave to us all, which will forever keep us laughing out loud.

“For us here, who have known and cared for her for so many years, we’ve lost our dear little friend who always kept us entertained by filling our days with joyful laughter. Estelle’s fans across the globe have lost the feisty little lady known as Sophia Petrillo, whose quick wit, cutting remarks, and outrageous punch lines will forever be quoted and remembered.

“Estelle was a fighter. She always stood up for the underdogs, fought for equality for all, and always pictured a world filled with “Love and Laughter” —her most favorite catch phrase.

“Estelle, we love you and will miss you dearly. We pray that you are met at the Pearly Gate with open arms and a warm welcome by all who have passed before you. If there’s a stage over there, I know you’ll be on it. If there’s a thrift shop, I know you’ll be shopping, and if there’s a deli, I know you’ll be eating there holding court with Rhoda and Sylvia … and the laughter will be heard throughout the heavens.

“Goodbye, dear friend. Thank you for all the talent and love that you’ve shared with us during your time here on Earth. You have touched my life, and the lives of so many others who will never forget you.”

Getty had been suffering from poor health over the years.

The latest reports claim she was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia, a progressive brain disease.

In 2005, her Golden Girls co-star Rue McClanahan told Entertainment Tonight when she called her on the phone, “the only thing she was able to say back to me was, ‘Yes.’”

Born in New York City, Getty launched her career in the Yiddish theater.

She earned acclaim for her role as playing Harvey Fierstein’s mother in Broadway’s Torch Song Trilogy.

She was best known, however, as the quick-wittted Sophia on The Golden Girls. She won an Emmy in 1988 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.

In 2006, her caregiver told Entertainment Tonight, “Estelle would like them all to know that if she has made you laugh, encouraged you to think, and challenged your beliefs, then she has done her job.”

She is survived by her two adult sons, Barry and Carl.

Sherri Shepherd: “I Had More Abortions Than I Would Like to Count”

Source: www.celebritymound.com

In the new issue of black Christian women’s magazine Precious Times, The View’s Sherri Shepherd reveals that her life was once so rough she didn’t care if she died.

“My sister was heavy into drugs, and we would have to go and get her from crack houses,” Shepherd, 41, says.

At the time, the stand-up comic — then a Jehovah’s Witness – was “in a very physically abusive relationship,” she said. “I was sleeping with a lot of guys and had more abortions than I would like to count.”

She said her self-esteem became so low, “I felt if someone killed me, it wouldn’t even make a difference.”

But after converting to Christianity, she said, “God showed me that it would make a difference.”

(Shepherd has also said she relied on her faith to get through her split with husband Jeff Tarpley, father of their 3-year-old son. During their seven-year marriage, Tarpley cheated on her and got another woman pregnant.)

Still, Shepherd admitted it is tough talking religion on the popular ABC chat-fest. (She received criticism after she once remarked that ancient Greeks persecuted Christians, even though Christ hadn’t been born yet.)

“Oh, sometimes I say, ‘Lord, Juanita Bynum or Joyce Meyer would be so good at this table. They could lay hands on Barbara Walters and get her saved,’” she said.

“I ask the Lord, ‘Why am I here?’” Shepherd added. “I have to trust God when He says, ‘Because I said so.’”

BLOODY BRAWL AT CAPT. LOU’S BASH

Source: www.celebritymound.com

A 75th-birthday bash for wrestling icon Capt. Lou Albano turned into a real-life “Wrestlemania” event when “The Sandman” allegedly got drunk and went berserk - and “The Zombie” and “Pitbull” struggled to restrain him as a SWAT team was called in.

“It was unbelievable - I’ve never seen anything like it,” one stunned party guest told The Post yesterday, after wrestler Jim “The Sandman” Fullington found himself at the center of a bottle-hurling, glass-smashing melee with the owner of La Lanterna restaurant in Yonkers.

“If you didn’t know better, you’d think the whole thing had been staged.”

Five Yonkers cops, a SWAT unit and an ambulance had to be called to stop the brawl, which partygoers said started after Fullington exchanged words with eatery owner T.J. Tarone - who responded by shattering a beer bottle in the face of the 6-foot-6, 300-pound wrestler.

The bloodied and battered Fullington - an Extreme Championship Wrestling pro and longtime friend of the legendary Albano - left the party in an ambulance, and woke up in a Westchester jail cell yesterday, charged with assault, according to Yonkers cops.

The bizarre scene unfolded late Sunday, after a daylong gathering of about 150 of Albano’s nearest and dearest, including Fullington and the other wrestlers.
Around 5 p.m., Fullington - who’d earlier given a touching toast to his pal - became loud and boisterous, witnesses said.

He was in the bar “smacking around the lights like they were a speedbag,” one source said.

“The next thing you knew, it was chaos,” a witness said.

Fullington went after Tarone, as fellow wrestlers Tim “The Zombie” Roberts and Gary “Pitbull” Wolfe took him outside and tried to calm him.

Then “the owner guy pulls out a beer bottle and - from about three feet away - just hauls off and whips it at this wrestler guy,” one witness said.
Albano’s agent and niece, Kami Albano, who had planned the soiree, confirmed that account.

“Sandman was bleeding all over the place,” she said.

An enraged Fullington broke free from his buddies and chased Tarone back through the restaurant into the kitchen.

There, witnesses said, “The Sandman” picked up dish-racks full of glassware and started throwing them through the air.

By then, cops had been called - and came into the kitchen with guns drawn.

A Yonkers police spokeswoman said Fullington “resisted arrest,” and that two cops were later treated for glass wounds and “exposure to blood.”

Tarone was at the beach yesterday and through friends, declined comment.

The Feds Have Formally Charged Larry Mendte

Source: www.celebritymound.com

THE Feds have charged Philadelphia TV newsman Larry Mendte with illegally accessing the e-mail of his co-anchor, Alycia Lane, who was embarrassed when he leaked details of her private life to Page Six and Philly gossips. Lane’s lawyer, Paul Rosen, told us yesterday that Mendte, jealous of Lane’s rising star at KYW-TV, presented “a distorted, privately selected piece of her personal life. It was not the real Alycia Lane. He even read her e-mails during his breaks on the 11 o’clock news . . . It’s pretty sick.” Mendte’s lawyer, Michael Schwartz, said his client “continues to cooperate [with investigators] and will accept full responsibility for his actions.”

Woman says she was assaulted by Dallas DJ Russ Martin

Source: www.celebritymound.com

North Texas radio personality Russ Martin is accused of physically assaulting a woman and displaying a weapon at his Southlake home last Monday.

The City of Southlake released some details Monday afternoon of the incident that prompted Martin’s arrest on Friday.

Officials say the unnamed complainant alleges that she and Martin “engaged in a verbal altercation that turned physical. She advised that Martin physically assaulted her and displayed a pistol during the altercation.”

The woman reported the July 14 incident to police on the following day.

Martin’s afternoon radio show on KLLI-FM (105.3) Monday was a rebroadcast of an earlier program, but he was expected to return to the microphone on Tuesday.

Martin’s attorney, Tim Powers, said Sunday that he believes his client will be cleared of an aggravated assault charge.

Lawyer Tim Powers said he has advised his client not to discuss publicly his arrest Friday morning at Larry North Fitness in Southlake. Martin was at the gym when he was served with an arrest warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing bodily injury.

Both Powers and Southlake police Cpl. Mike Bedrich, a spokesman for the department, have declined to discuss the incident that led to the arrest.

Police said their records indicated no history of assaults or disturbances at Martin’s home.

Martin was released from jail Friday after posting a $10,000 bond.

He has been on Dallas-Fort Worth radio stations for nearly three decades. The “Russ Martin Show” on KLLI-FM (105.3) is one of the area’s highest-rated afternoon radio programs.

Mick Fleetwood’s Daughter in Stable Condition After Pool Accident

Source: www.celebritymound.com

Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood’s 6-year-old daughter Ruby is in critical but stable condition following a pool accident Friday in Los Angeles.

The family released a statement Monday updating her medical condition.

The statement read in part: “Ruby was the victim of an accident that is potentially extremely serious, but she is doing quite well and the medical staff here at Cedars is optimistic that she will make a full recovery,” according to Dr. Keith Kimble, attending staff at the Cedars-Sinai Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.

The release also cleared up how the accident occurred. Contrary to recent Internet reports, Ruby, who was on a playdate with her twin sister Tessa at a pool in the Hidden Hills area of Los Angeles, was not doing cartwheels near the pool and did not hit her head.

According to the Fleetwood family, the 6 year old was doing somersaults in the pool, became disoriented, and must have swallowed a high quantity of water.

After becoming unconscious, she was revived by CPR, then taken to West Hills Hospital where she was stabilized. She was later transferred to Cedars-Sinai Pediatric ICU where she is currently being treated.

Radio host angers parents of autistic children…what a jerk!

Source: www.celebritymound.com

Radio talk show host Michael Savage, who described 99 percent of children with autism as brats, said Monday he was trying to “boldly awaken” parents to his view that many people are being wrongly diagnosed.

Some parents of autistic children have called for Savage’s firing after he described autism as a racket last week. “In 99 percent of the cases, it’s a brat who hasn’t been told to cut the act out,” Savage said on his radio program last Wednesday.

Savage offered no apology in a message posted Monday on his Web site. He said greedy doctors and drug companies were creating a “national panic” by overdiagnosing autism, a mental disorder that inhibits a person’s ability to communicate.

On his radio show last week, he said: “What do you mean they scream and they’re silent? They don’t have a father around to tell them, `Don’t act like a moron. You’ll get nowhere in life. Stop acting like a putz. Straighten up. Act like a man. Don’t sit there crying and screaming, you idiot.’”

The government estimates about 1 in 150 children have some form of autism. But many experts believe these unsociable behaviors were just about as common 30 or 40 years ago and that the increase is mostly caused by a surge in special education services and a corresponding shift in diagnoses.

Wendy Fournier of the National Autism Association, a parents’ advocacy group, said she was invited to speak Monday on Savage’s three-hour program by Savage’s boss, Mark Masters of Talk Radio Network, which syndicates the show across the country. A spokeswoman from Talk Radio Network did not immediately return a call for comment.

Fournier called Savage’s comments “way, way, way over the line and cruel.”

“I’m hoping to make him see the reality of what these kids are facing,” she said. “You can’t fix it by telling a kid to shut up. It’s like telling a kid with cancer to stop being sick.”

Evelyn Ain, whose 8-year-old son has been diagnosed with autism, said she had never heard of Savage and couldn’t believe what she had heard when she first listened to the remarks. She organized a demonstration Monday outside New York’s WOR-AM, which broadcasts Savage.

“That isn’t just freedom of speech, it is hateful speech when you say 99 percent of children with autism are brats,” she said. “I’ll tell you, I wish I had a brat.”

Savage, with more than 8 million listeners a week, is talk radio’s third most popular personality behind Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, according to Talkers magazine. He’s made a living off bold, outrageous statements: His brief MSNBC show was canceled after he told a caller he should “get AIDS and die, you pig.”

Peter Bell, executive vice president of national advocacy group Autism Speaks, said he isn’t aware of any big controversy about overdiagnosis of autism. He said Savage’s remarks, effectively blaming parents, reflect an outdated point of view.

“He’s an entertainer, he does these things for attention,” Bell said. “I think we should, to the best we can, ignore it.”

Ebert, Roeper split with Disney’s ‘At the Movies’

Source: www.celebritymound.com

A statement from Roger Ebert on his official blog announces the end of an era:

After 33 years on the air, 23 of them with Disney, the studio has decided to take the program named “Siskel & Ebert” and then “Ebert & Roeper” in a new direction. I will no longer be associated with it.

The show was a wonderful experience. It was a great loss to me when surgery in July 2006 made it impossible for me to appear on the air any longer. Although I remained active behind the scenes, I feel that Richard Roeper and several co-hosts, notably Michael Phillips and A.O. Scott, have excelled at carrying on the tradition Gene Siskel and I began in 1975 with “Sneak Previews” on PBS.

Gene and I felt the formula was simplicity itself: Two film critics, sitting across the aisle from each other in a movie balcony, debating the new films of the week. We developed an entirely new concept for TV. Few shows have been on the air so long and remained so popular. We made television history, and established the trademarked catch-phrase “Two thumbs up.”

The trademark still belongs to me and Marlene Iglitzen, Gene’s widow, and the thumbs will return. We are discussing possibilities, and plan to continue the show’s tradition.

The Wendy Williams Show Welcomes Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth

Source: www.celebritymound.com

Sparks flew on The Wendy Williams Show today when former Apprentice contestant Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth spoke about her upcoming book titled, The Bitch Switch!

(ET).

Omarosa talks about not wanting to be disrespected when she first walks out on stage:

Omarosa: Wait, wait, wait.

Wendy: What?

Omarosa: You said you were going to straighten me out. What the hell was that?

Wendy: I said smooth you out.

Omarosa: What does that mean? I just want to have a conversation.

Wendy: Let’s have a conversation. Chill.

Omarosa: Oh, I know how to chill. But I will not be disrespected.

(Long pause and audience reaction)

Wendy: Okay. This is not the time for you to look for your moment. I invited you here to be friendly.

Omarosa: Oh I know how to find my moment. (Hold up her new book to the camera.)

Wendy: We’re going to talk about the book.

Omarosa: Alright well then let’s get to it. (Wendy holds up book cover and Omarosa swipes it from her hands.)

Wendy: Show it to Kenny (cameraman) right here. (Points to camera man.) Do you want the book to be seen? (To audience) What did I just do? Nothing right? Ok. Listen, we’re going to start this over. Will you please help me welcome my guest Ms. Omarosa.

Wendy talking to Omarosa about her recent appearance on Celebrity Apprentice:

W: You were the reason I watched Celebrity Apprentice. And the reason being, you are a person who incites interest, good, bad or indifferent. Clearly Trump sees something like that from you which is why he invites you back over and over. I understand that there will possibly be a show that you will all be working on together. Possibly.

O: Well I did Celebrity Apprentice because it was about charity. And I work with kids in Compton (LA) who don’t have an opportunity to have a voice, to fight for themselves. They face crime, they face violence, and they don’t have people to look up to. So I went on that show to tell people about Positive Vibrations, my charity in Compton, California.

W: Your relationship with Piers [Morgan] was quite fire. What was it about Piers that rubbed you the wrong way?

O: You know, Piers was the competition. The Celebrity Apprentice as well as the first season, it’s a competitive reality show. In the end there is only one winner and I wanted it to be me. So I had to get rid of the other contestants and you do that by either outselling, outplaying, or out witting. And that’s what I was doing with Piers.

Wendy talks about Omarosa’s persona:

W: Your persona as being this bitch, as being difficult to work with, as being an ice queen, as being someone people don’t like…

O: I was voted the number one villain by TV Guide about a month ago. And you know, I’ll say this. If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

Wendy talking to Omarosa about what they have in common:

W: But Omarosa, while you and I probably have a lot in common in regards, some demanding ways, I always find that you show the honey and it usually works out better. And I’m a little bit sweeter.

O: I’ve watched your career and I think it’s fantastic to see an African America woman in daytime television. We need more of that, I’m supportive of that. But you didn’t get here by being sweet. You got here by your ways on radio, by pushing buttons by having great interviews. But it’s very interesting that you kind of switched it up for the talk show. I’d love to see more of the edge. I’m seeing a softer side. Maybe you’re evolving. I like that.

W: No, it’s the same Wendy sweetie.

Wendy talks to Omarosa about her new book:

W: Tell us what it’s about.

O: It’s called The Bitch Switch. Every woman has a bitch switch. They have to learn how to turn it on and turn it off.

W: Do you know how to turn yours off?

O: Absolutely.

W: Tell us some of these ways.

O: The first is, women shouldn’t be afraid to get what they want. We shouldn’t have to apologize because we are tough and we go after what we want and how we want it. Everybody gets put down in the work place if you are strong and out spoken.

W: (To audience) Look, I agree with what she is saying but sometimes the delivery could be a little bit harsh, but we are working our way through.

W: I’m sure that there are some more interesting morsels that we can pick up. I mean this is not my approach, this might not be your approach, you know the Omarosa way. I feel like in many ways you are the stereotypical angry black woman that white America looks at us as…

O: I would rather be ABW, Angry Black Woman, than a buffoon.

W: Well, that’s true, that’s true. But there’s got to be some place in between…

O: If black women in the workplace tend to speak up they instantly say they are angry. I’m not angry. I’m not pissed off about anything. I’m young, I’m educated, I’m successful…

W: And you are rich. That is what you said on the BET red carpet.

O: And I represent my community well. I give back more to my community than anyone that I know. So if that’s being ABW, you are reinforcing stereotypes. That’s important for you not to do. Cause you don’t know. You really don’t.

W: Listen, you’re not my type Omarosa, and let me tell you…

O: Trust me.

W: Twenty two years I’ve been doing what I’m doing…

O: But don’t be fake. Because what happens is you have guests on your show and then you go on your radio show and talk smack instead of doing it when they are sitting on the couch.

W: I’m doing it right here.

O: I don’t have to be your type, but let me be clear. Been there, done that.

W: Let me tell you something about this show. I don’t need to do this show and then go on my radio show and talk about anything. This is a live show and…

O: But you’ve been doing it. You’ve been having people on your show and then talking smack. See the bottom line is my book comes out in the fall. (Holds up book.) Buy it if you want to, if you don’t…

Wendy discusses Omarosa’s dating life:

W: What types of men do you date and what’s that conversation like?

O: I love beautiful, chocolate brothers. I love strong brothers, educated brothers, I love it.

Wendy mentions Omarosa’s own TV pilot for her own talk show:

W: Now you had a pilot for a talk show.

O: For a talk show. You know the reason why I passed on it, it was being produced by the producers of Jerry Springer and I had to make a decision whether to go forward or not. And I made a decision. I enjoy doing talk shows, I enjoy watching talk. But it’s an interesting world. And I still run my government affairs firm. I still do politics.

Omarosa talks about her own plastic surgery:

W: So you got implants for you, but you also got stuff for your mother. I heard your mother looks fantastic.

O: We did a makeover show. We did a total makeover show on Discovery Health. And I wanted to do that so people would know about plastic surgery. You are very open about that but there are celebrities that are not. Did you have a nose job?

W: No.

O: It looks like you had a nose job.

W: No.

O: I mean I just looked at before and after…honey. Before and after. Before and after pictures.

W: But if I can suggest, the only thing that I’ve had done to my face has been a little Botox. I would suggest for you some Restaline. (Omarosa becomes uncomfortable) They say good guests don’t crack, she’s cracking.

Rapper DMX has been arrested at a Phoenix mall on a felony charge of taking the identity of another.

Phoenix police Sgt. Andy Hill did not have details of the charge, as it stemmed from a Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office case.

The sheriff’s office did not immediately return a request for comment.

Hill says DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was being taken Saturday for booking into the Maricopa County jail.

The musician/actor has had a recent string of run-ins with the law, including an arrest at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport earlier this month on outstanding warrants after he failed to appear in court.

The week before, he was arrested in Miami on charges of attempting to purchase cocaine and marijuana.

Ed McMahon is suing a Los Angeles hospital and others over a neck injury he said has left him unable to work.

McMahon filed suit in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday against Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, two doctors, and the owner of a home where he says he fell and broke his neck.

The former “The Tonight Show” sidekick claims Cedars-Sinai discharged him with the injury, and that the stairs a home where he was attending a dinner party in March 2007 were unsafe.

The hospital did not have any immediate comment.

The lawsuit gives new insights into the neck injuries McMahon discussed in a recent appearance on “Larry King Live.” McMahon said he fell behind on mortgage payments because he was unable to work as a pitchman.

General Hospital Star Explains Naming Son ‘Peanut’

Source: www.celebritymound.com

Move over Apple, there’s a new foodie baby name in town! Last week, General Hospital star Ingo Rademacher and his fiancée, Ehiku, welcomed their son Peanut Kai.

“We were calling him that when he was in mommy,” Rademacher told PEOPLE about the unusual name, which was first reported by Soap Opera Digest. “It kind of represented joy and happiness to us. It puts a smile on everyone’s face.”

That explains the Peanut part of the name. As for “Kai,” it’s Hawaiian for “water,” according to Rademacher. Baby Peanut is one quarter Hawaiian on his mother’s side. The couple plans to marry in Hawaii next year.

Rademacher, who plays Jax on the popular ABC soap, delivered the baby during a home birth in Malibu on July 11. “We were set on home birth right away,” he said. “A hospital was not a place we wanted to be.” A midwife was also present at the birth.
