A music producer has sued Vanessa Hudgens for $5 million, claiming the actress and her father have repeatedly violated a contract and failed to pay him his share of her earnings.

Hudgens, one of the stars of Disney’s successful “High School Musical” series, entered into an agreement with producer Johnny Vieira when she was still a minor, the lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, states. Vieira claims Hudgens and her father, Greg, sued to get out of the agreement, but have also failed to abide by settlement terms.

An e-mail message seeking comment from Hudgens’ publicist wasn’t immediately returned Tuesday morning.

Vieira is described in the lawsuit as a songwriter and music producer who was “engaged in the business of discovering and developing artists in the music industry” when he entered into an agreement with Hudgens in 2005.

That agreement, Vieira states, called for him to equally share in advances, royalties and merchandising from Hudgens’ career.

That was before she landed a starring role in “High School Musical,” which is scheduled to release its third installment later this year. She has also released a pair of solo albums.

Vieira claims an audit turned up at least two instances where he is owed money, and that Hudgens, 19, has refused to pay him.

He is also suing Greg Hudgens for defamation, claiming he sent an e-mail to others that accused Vieira of being a “predator.”

Hudgens was sued last year by a lawyer who claimed she owed him $150,000. Court records show the lawsuit was settled in January, about a month after a judge ruled that case could go to trial.

They’ve been dating for more than a year, but Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens proved their romance is hotter than ever during an ultra-romantic vacation on the Caribbean islands of Turks and Caicos. The High School Musical sweethearts escaped to the island paradise on July 6, and stayed at the exclusive, secluded Amanyara Resort on Malcolm’s Road Beach, where villas go for up to $8,000 a night. “They looked like a happy young couple,” says a witness who saw the pair “laughing all the time” and frolicking on the hotel’s beach during their week-long stay. Although Zac, 20, and Vanessa, 19, went away together to be alone, they were friendly to the other tourists who recognized them, including a bunch of young HSM fans. “They were nice to all of the kids who approached them,” a fellow vacationer reveals. “They were a very gracious couple.”

Vanessa Hudgens says “stupid people” leaked the nude photos of her online last year.

“I think people thought I took it lighter than I really did,” the High School Musical star, 19, said of the incident in a new interview with Good Morning America Radio. “For me, it was really tough because I’m a private person and for something like that to happen, it’s so mean.”

She said the experience was “horrible … it sucked. But thankfully it’s over and it’s in the past.”

How did she survive?

“My fans were amazing because they have stood by my side. They really are my core group,” she said. “My family’s always there for me. I just surround myself with good people and try to think of good things.”

In February, Hudgens — who just dropped her new disc Identified — said she was upfront with her mom about the shots.

“I was just open with her, and she was just so cute,” Hudgens told Seventeen. “She was like, ‘Well, everyone can be naked if they want to.’ My parents are very supportive of me. And they know I’m a teenager, and yes, kids do stupid things sometimes.”

The biggest lesson she learned?

“Nothing is private,” she told the magazine. “Everyone knows everything, and they can find out everything about you… you have to be aware of the people you’re around.”

The filming for HSM3 with Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens is moving along and now as the excitement grows spoilers are starting to leak out all over the place.  No word on how true or false these are, but if you are interested here you go.

1- The Wildcats win the game versus West High Knights on a crazy last second shot by Toy. ‘Now or Never’ follows the game.

2- Tiara ans Sharpay have a sing off. Sharpay is allergic to Rocket’s cologne and she runs of stage annoyed.

3- In the final graduation scene everybody starts to sing the final number. Ryan is offered a scholarship to Julliard after his musical number and we find out Kelsi is also going.

4- Troy goes off to Berkley to pursue theater and to play basketball.

5- Chad chooses Albuquerque University to play sports.

6- Gabriella goes to Stanford University.

7- The East High Drama Club will be controlled be Sharpay

Teen actress Vanessa Hudgens is said to be worried that the presence of Lindsay Lohan’s 14-year-old sister Ali on-set of High School Musical 3 will cause unprecedented drama - and maybe even steal her thunder.

“When Vanessa heard that Ali was vying for a part in High School Musical 3, she flipped,” says an insider. “She knows Ali isn’t Lindsay, but she’s still weary of the drama the Lohan clan brings.”

High School Musical 3: Senior Year, is the follow-up to Disney Channel’s hugely successful High School Musical 2, and also stars Ashley Tisdale & Zac Efron.

Ali Lohan has previously spoken of her desire to be famous.

Vanessa Hudgens is set to cause even more controversy - after fresh rumors surfaced alleging she had made a Christmas tree sex tape.

Claims of the sex tape - also reportedly starring her boyfriend and High School Musical star Zac Efron - come just months after a string of nude pictures taken in her bedroom were leaked on the internet.

In the footage, the 19-year-old actress is allegedly recorded on a cell phone sitting under a Christmas tree wearing only a Santa’s hat and some saucy knickers decorated with mistletoe.

During the clip - which lasts around 45 seconds, Hudgens reportedly turns to the cameraman and whispers: “I want Santa to come up my chimney because I’ve been a good little girl this year.”

Then Zac Efron appears, and the pair get down to business.

This could throw Vanessa’s career into crisis - following the release of full frontal pictures last year.

At the time, the Disney star said: “It was something that was meant to be private… I am extremely upset it happened.

“Kids do stupid things sometimes. It’s very unfortunate because with the Internet these days, you don’t have a personal life.”

Fresh on the heels of her Seventeen magazine interview we she stated that Zac has been her rock during the whole nude photo scandal reports are coming out that the pair has called it quits. Not just that they ended it, but they ended in before Christmas and Zac dumped the star over the phone!

“They’ve been together for a long time, and he didn’t even call her to wish her a Merry Christmas,” according to the tabloid’s report.

Vanessa Hudgens has finally decided to discuss her nude pictures that made her an internet sensation late last year and what better place to discuss it than Seventeen magazine.  A magazine intended for you teenage girls that are the ones on myspace and chatting sending out nude pictures because their boyfriend promised they would be together forever.  According to the interview Vanessa didn’t take the pictures for any Nicelodeon or Disney star, but for another boy she was dating at the time.  I love her mother’s comments in the interview - way to put your foot down mom and tell your daughter she whored it up a bit.

They like to be so into their boyfriends, you know? And you can’t do that, because you get too infatuated–and then you lose contact with your friends. It happens to a lot of girls.

Meeting up for a trip to Woodland Hills and the mall, Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens were spotted out for lunch and a little last minute shopping on Christmas Eve (December 24).

Clad in a blue dress topped off by a grey sweater, Tisdale seemed to be well recovered from her recent nose surgery - joking and laughing throughout the day with 19-year-old Hudgens.

To start things off, the High School Musical co-stars grabbed a quick bite to eat at Mo’s Fine Food in Woodland Hills.

After their meal, it was off to the Westfield Mall so that the twosome could finish off their Holiday shopping lists - readying for what’s sure to be their best Christmas yet!
