David Beckham and his LA Galaxy took on the San Jose Earthquake at Mcafee Stadium in Oakland.  Becks didn’t get a goal, but did have an assist in the Galaxy’s 3-2 loss to the Quake. The highlight of the game for most female fans was when David decided his Galaxy jersey wasn’t the right look so he took it off to show his tattoos to the fans.

What birthday gift do you get for the woman who has everything? If you’re David Beckham shopping for wife Victoria, you don’t spring for some fine wine, you pick up the entire winery. To celebrate Posh’s 34th birthday, Becks picked up the tab on a multimillion dollar vineyard in Napa Valley.

Seems like a grand gesture, even by Beckham standards, so what gives? Full Disclosure reports that the vineyard was meant to keep Victoria busy. “David feels like Victoria needs something to do other than shopping and going to parties,” a source told Full Disclosure. “He is hoping she will get into the wine business and settle into some kind of regular routine.”

Another source close to the Beckhams told us having a vineyard is also meant to keep Victoria happy stateside. “Her experience in the States hasn’t been what she hoped for. Her clothing line never took off, she doesn’t have loads of girlfriends,” said the source. “David doesn’t miss the level of fame he had in England, Victoria does.”

The rail-thin former Posh Spice was at STK the other night for a dinner with designer Marc Jacobs, who features her in his ads. “She wouldn’t order anything herself. She wouldn’t address the waiter. She had her assistant order for her,” said our spy. Posh might have suffered from low-blood sugar. “She had to be escorted to the ladies’ room by security, she was so wobbly,” said our witness. Victoria Beckham has chastised critics who have accused her of only forging a close friendship with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes to further her acting career.

The former Spice Girl became firm friends with the Cruise family when she and her soccer ace husband David moved to Los Angeles in July 2007.

Since the Hollywood move, the Wannabe hitmaker has made a transition to the small screen, making a number of guest appearances - most notably on hit comedy Ugly Betty.

But Beckham insists she is not interested in a Hollywood acting career because she is well aware of her lack of skills in front of the camera - and has snubbed several film roles as a result.

She says, “I’m happy doing what I’m doing right now. I’m a terrible actress. Everyone thinks I’m only friends with Tom and Katie to be in a movie but it’s not true. I’ve turned down lots of roles.”

The former Spice Girl will reportedly be making regular appearances in the hit show after impressing bosses with her cameo last year.

An insider says, “The producers are delighted she will return. She is going to feature quite a bit.”

When Victoria appeared as herself in an episode last year, she was locked in a cupboard by publishing executive Wilhelmina Slater (Vanessa Williams).

Meanwhile, the 34-year-old is set to star alongside Steve Coogan as Lynn — his long-suffering PA — in ‘Alan Partridge: The Movie’, after Felicity Montagu, who played Lynn in the original TV series, refused to travel to Hollywood for the shoot.

Victoria Beckham has confessed she and her soccer star husband David get drunk “all the time”.

When asked how often she gets drunk, the former Spice Girl, 34, confessed, “all the time. We went to Napa for my birthday. David organized a surprise and we all got drunk and had a laugh.

“You know I might look like a stony-faced pain in the ass cow but in actual fact, I like to have a laugh,” she said.

“I do like to have a drink and a have a laugh, that kind of thing. I really don’t take myself too seriously, contrary to what people think. I think it’s really important.”

And Victoria insists that she does shifts in a factory to make her own dVb jeans range.

She adds, “I do all the designing. I go to the factories, I work on the stuff.”

And Victoria also insists she is famous for more than just being a footballer’s wife. “I think there are lots of celebrities, for want of a better word, I do hate celebrity because it does mean that you’re famous for absolutely doing nothing, a lot of them have licensing deals all over the place and I actually am creative director of the [DVB] brand,” she explains.

“I like to actually create the stuff. I go to the factories, I work on the stuff, I design the bottles and the labeling. That’s why I think this is a little bit different.”

And speaking to London radio station Heart FM, Victoria also revealed that she has visited Micheal Jackson’s Neverland Ranch — but remained mum about whether the fallen king of pop was there at the time.

She says, “I’ve been to Neverland with the kids. I’m not going to say if Michael Jackson was there. It was amazing and I have met Michael Jackson and he’s a very nice man.’

“They’ve got pictures of kids up everywhere, which I think is really cool.”

Realizing what she had just inferred she quickly emphasized, “Pictures of HIS kids!”

Victoria Beckham has denied reports she is is pregnant with her fourth child.

The former Spice Girl, who has three sons — Romeo, Brooklyn, and Cruz — with her soccer star husband David Beckham, says she isn’t expecting a fourth — but won’t rule out the possibility of adding to her brood.

Victoria Beckham has opened up about her burgeoning friendship with George Clooney, saying the Michael Clayton star is “a real gentlemen.”

The former Spice Girl — who recently celebrated her 34th birthday with a lavish bash — spent time with the Hollywood hunk during a flight on Giorgio Armani’s private earlier this month — but insists her soccer star husband has nothing to worry about.

She says, “I have only just got to know George. He was so nice, a real gentleman and absolutely hilarious. He has a great sense of humor.

“But I think David is better looking than him. Definitely.”

“David and I are always in the school. We go and serve up hot lunches. It’s the same food we used to get at school — turkey twizzlers,” she added in an interview with British newspaper The Sun. “I go on the school trips too.

“We turn up and get really hands-on. Romeo had to do ‘What my parents do’ day recently. We both sign up for everything at the school. We had a cake-baking day as well.

She continues, “They love it when Mummy and Daddy turn up to serve lunch. My parents do it and David’s mum has done it too. I’d rather go to Pumpkin Patch at school than dinner at the Ivy.

“I’m a seriously strict mum and David is a strict dad. The boys have good manners. It is really important they are good kids.”

Victoria and David Beckham are planning to buy a new home back in the UK.

The couple, who last year moved to Los Angles when David signed to the LA Galaxy soccer club, are looking for a property in London, which is set to their most lavish yet.

They’ve reportedly asked Los Angeles’ exclusive Petit Tresor children’s boutique to design bedrooms for sons Brooklyn, nine, Romeo, five, and Cruz, three. They expect to spend $50,000 on each room.

Petit Tresor boss Nina Takesh revealed an assistant for the couple called them to ask for some “Hollywood Regency” designs.

She said: “She didn’t give any more details. Everything’s very hush-hush. But, as well as the three bedrooms, they want a design for a playroom.”

David’s contract with LA Galaxy runs out in 2012, and rumors are rife that he and Victoria will return to London after that.

And Petit Tresor, which has worked with the Beckhams before, said they wanted to bring a touch of Hollywood gloss to their new UK home.

Nina said: “The rooms are very glamorous, with a lot of custom-designed furniture. It’s sophisticated Hollywood meets what is just traditional and gorgeous.”

A spokeswoman for the couple said last night: “Victoria has said that if they ever move back to the UK they’ll look to move to central London.”

George Clooney was seen getting friendly with David and Victoria Beckham during a flight on Giorgio Armani’s private jet this past week.

The stars, who were flying to New York ahead of the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute Gala, sipped Cristal champagne on ice; exchanged gossip; and enjoyed the free mini-bar. “George was only recently introduced to the Beckhams but they hit it off straight away,” a source said.

Team Cruise and Team Beckham reunited on the red carpet last night at the social event of the season, the annual Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute Gala, which drew a who’s who roll call of international stars.

The quartet put aside rumours of a rift as they posed up together at the glamorous event, but in typical fashion, Posh did her best to steal the spotlight in a see-through white Armani dressing coat.

But with her usual bob swept up into a carefully set chignon and heavily painted face, Victoria’s attempt at Old Hollywood glamour was rather too literal, leaving her looking well beyond her 34 years.

And pout-prone Posh appeared more glum than ever - perhaps it was the pressure of competing with a host of Hollywood actress and supermodels that prompted her look of disdain.

Celebrating 25-years in Hollywood, Tom Cruise sat down for the second part of his interview with Oprah Winfrey.

And with a little help from friends and costars, the Hollywood star recounted his career.

“I feel at home on that movie set,” Cruise, 45, told Winfrey. “A lot of times I show up before the crew. And I feel this is what I’m supposed to do.”

On the show, Winfrey gifted audience members with a box set of the actor’s flicks, and showed off choice clips from his movies.

Also on the show were various clips from former costars like Will Smith, Renée Zellweger and friends David and Victoria Beckham, who recorded sweet and funny tributes for the actor, whose breakthrough role was in the 1983 film Risky Business.

Will Smith: “There’s not a single piece of press … a single image in the 25 years of his career that gets anywhere near capturing who he is.”

Jada Pinkett-Smith: “Stuff I want people to know, I can’t say!” she quipped. Seriously speaking, she says, “Nothing that he’s done professionally holds a candle to who he is as a human being – and that’s real.”

Renée Zellweger: “I didn’t need to conjure motivation to say that line,” she says about her famous line, “You had me at ‘hello’” from Jerry Maguire. “I walked in and there he was.”

Victoria Beckham: “[Tom and Katie] really know how to have a laugh.” The former Spice Girl also revealed that she went to see Jerry Maguire on her first date with David Beckham.

Jamie Foxx: The actor’s Collateral costar joked that after crashing a car for a scene in the film, “Tom Cruise is bouncing around in the backseat. I really understood how less of a star I was when they jumped in the car and they said, ‘Jamie, move! Tom, are you OK?’”

Victoria Beckham is set to launch legal action against fashion label Rock and Republic over loss of earnings, according to reports.

The former Spice Girl signed a deal with the company in 2004 to make her dVb brand jeans, but split from the firm two years later amid reports of a fall out with owner Michael Ball.

Now Beckham is believed to be filing a lawsuit against Rock and Republic, claiming it owes her up to $100 million in lost earnings.

A High Court listing obtained by Britain’s Mail On Sunday newspaper shows Beckham Brand Ltd, a company established by the singer and her soccer ace husband David, filed a claim against Rock and Republic last month.

There are no further details as a claim form has not yet been served on Rock and Republic. However Beckham is reported by the Mail On Sunday to be seeking compensation for lost earnings as the denim range was not as profitable as she was led to believe.

It’s not the first time the dVb range has attracted controversy - last month, the owner of Los Angeles boutique Kitson slammed Beckham for failing to promote her denim brand at the store.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes threw pals David and Victoria Beckham a surprise birthday party — quashing rumors of a rift between the two couples.

LA Galaxy soccer star David had been in touch with the Top Gun actor over ideas for Victoria’s 34th birthday.

Tom, 45, offered his private jet and recommended a trip to a friend’s vineyard in Napa Valley, California.

But when David and Victoria got to LAX airport, what they thought would be a quiet trip for two, turned into a surprise party.

Tom and Katie were reportedly waiting on board. And so were pals Heidi Klum, Seal, Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman. The A-listers set a course for the Napa Valley for a tour of the vineyards then had dinner cooked by the private chef.

Fashion icon Victoria Beckham will reportedly design the costumes for new movie Hardy Men - after she was personally asked by the film’s star Tom Cruise.

The former Spice Girl - who is currently conquering the U.K. and U.S. fashion markets with her own range of designer jeans - is preparing to meet with the film’s costume department.

A source said, “(Tom) pulled her aside and asked if she’d like to be involved in the costume consultation on Hardy Men.
